Monogram Napkins ... #yesplease

As you know I am addicted to monograms.  Might have my own MA meeting.  Probably need to be in charge of it with all my the monograms I own ... but it is what it is.

One of my favorite things to have in the house monogrammed are the dinner napkins.  Oh the possibilities.  The color combinations and the settings I can create ... it is so good and so much fun!

I have nothing but eye candy for you today to inspire you to have a monogrammed napkin collection of your own.  I can't be at all the MA meetings alone!  Who would I chat with?

Monogrammed placemats are the cornerstone of a classic traditional table.

I love how quickly a place setting can change when you add in the linens.  And these color combinations are just right up my alley!

That detail on the edges ... love it!

Yes!  Those tabacco leaf plates are perfection with the hot pink napkins!

Classic blue and white goes with anything!

That monogram style ... and of course those plates are amazing.

This monogram is delish!

A personal favorite of mine.  I just love how Emily used the artichokes ... and of course, that breakfast nook is just di-vine!

Gorgeous Number Four Eleven happiness!!

Same napkins as the table above ... totally different styling and I love it all!  I could stare at this space of Emily's all. day. long.

I have posted each image with its source so you can peruse each all you would like for more inspiration.  I think napkins truly make a table and as I am setting our table for Easter I have been inspired to use a great combination just to be able to use a napkin I am dying to try.

Stay tuned ...

  1. Wow, those are gorgeous? May I ask a dumb question? Whose monogram goes on the napkin? Each guest? the family? the mom?

    1. I am very traditional when it comes to monogramming ... Emily Post says the lady of the house has her monograms on linens. The hubs has his monogram on his towels, his pillowcase and all of the bar ware. The rest of the house is all my monogram! xo

  2. I also have a monogram question. I could swear that I was taught (married in 2000) that the couple's monogram is the husband on the left, last name center and wife on the right. However, it seems wherever I look I'm seeing the wife's name on the left. Please clarify! I'm letting you be the ultimate judge :)

    1. It was always my understanding that the husband is never separated from his last name. When I monogrammed items for others I always used this rule and put the man's initial on the right side. Thanks for asking! XXOO
