Tulle Skirts ... #lovethem

Tulle skirts!  I absolute love them.  I love the way they look on and I absolutely love how girly I feel when I wear it.  It's like I could just break out into a ballet at any moment!

If I knew ballet.  Or was graceful at all!

When my precious friend Skipper told me that she was interested in buying one I agreed to help her style it.  Dress up?  Yes please!  And she might be the ideal candidate for a tulle skirt!

She has two events she is thinking of wearing the skirt, one casual and one dressy.  I have pulled together three ways I would wear the skirt ... and she would be amazing in any of them!

Her casual function ... a backyard party for a very special occasion.  She could change out the denim skirt for a short sleeve white one or even a precious gingham option.  The key for me is that the shirt needs to be knotted at the waist and sleeves must be rolled up.  Ballet flats are a must in my opinion and since she always wears her trusty pearl earrings it would be easy to add on a fun pearl and gold necklace.  She will be darling and the most photographed girl at the shin dig.  Well, of course after the guest of honor!

Her other event is a dressy night out.  She could use the same precious pink tulle skirt or splurge and treat herself to a black one!  Of course you know my thoughts on that one!  All it would need would be a crisp white shirt, her hair up in a darling bun, gold jewelry and a show stopping bow heel.  She would look like the drop dead gorge wife she is!  And I am happy to loan her my vintage Chanel bag ... just as soon as I score it for myself!

And the most darling look ... the classic one!  This is the second option for her dressy night out ... and so her it might be scary.  Since she is a ballerina, ballerina flats with bows are absolutely necessary!  Her trusty pearl earrings would be amazing with a cluster strand of pearls around her neck and that amazing bow clutch is a MUST HAVE.  Classic, precious and so Skips!

Here are some amazing inspiration pictures I scored to give her just the push she needs to buy those skirts!

And a fabulous post by my dear friend Emily on she would wear her bow tulle skirt from Shabby Apple. She is amazing and a fashion inspiration to me daily!!

Happy Hump Day!
