Bar Cart Series No. 8 ... Emily McCarthy

I could not host a bar cart series and not include my dear friend and amazing shoppe owner Emily McCarthy.  I met Emily years ago via her blog and have watched her grow her brand from a small side business to the amazing website and shoppe it is today.  Emily is amazing, her style never waivers and she is absolutely perfect for today's showcase.

Design Feature ... Artist Paige Kalena Follmann

I have a huge respect for artists, I think it is partially because I always wanted to be able to paint.  I dabbled a little in high school and truly loved it, but I wasn't talented at all.  I can paint dots all day long in a bathroom but for the most part I leave the art to the seriously talented.

Paige Kalena Follmann is just that.  This Atlanta artist came across my radar a few months ago when she emailed me and introduced herself.  I had heard her name before in the Atlanta art scene but I had not had the pleasure of seeing her amazing work.  Specializing in abstracts, florals and figures her work makes my heart skip a beat and her paintings draw me in completely.  They are nothing short of gorgeous.

Snapping Away ...

Well, I am trying to.  I am officially posting regularly on Snapchat.  And by regular I mean I try to remember to snap parts of my day.  I don't always remember, but I am getting better and better about it.

A Small Space with a Big Statement

I have been a fan of Lindsey Coral Harper's work for a while.  I can't recall the first time I spotted her work, I just know I loved it.  She is a fellow fan of color and pattern and her darling New York City apartment graces the pages of this month's House Beautiful magazine.

The apartment is only 700 square feet, but each inch is styled to the nines. Lindsey has a love for zebras which can be spotted in quite a few of the photos. She also has a love for green and malachite which is a pattern I covet for sure.  I love how Lindsey used every single inch available to her in the apartment to showcase her darling personality and style.

Can you tell I am smitten over this feature?  That Quadrille Bali Isle wallpaper needs its own HB feature. It is the perfect backdrop for everything she has going in her bedroom.  I just can't get enough ...

And, of course, she is darling.  Sitting here at her 1970 brass desk I just love her bright colors and amazing bangles.  The entire article can be seen in the July/August issue or here online.

What a happy set of images for a Tuesday morning!  Since I am such a fan of Lindsey's work I will continue to follow her journey ... oh, and I will be sure to share more of her work when I see it.  In the mean time you can view her portfolio here and follow her on Instagram.

Happy day lovies ... thank you Lindsey for inspiring us all with your love for color and amazing patterns.  And, of course, all of those darling zebras!

Bar Cart Series No. 7 ... Lavin Label

The incredible creatives for this fun series just get better and better and today I have a fabulous tastemaker to share with you.  Monica Lavin is the creator of Lavin Label a go to for me for incredible products and ideas.  I first discovered Lavin Label in an Emily McCarthy blog post and once I opened her website I just couldn't stop reading.  Her styling is impeccable and each post is like an issue of a magazine. Her Instagram feed is fabulous, I constantly find myself screen shooting and making notes to try something amazing she has suggested. You will love Monica and every single thing she does.

Orange On My Mind

I am having a mad passionate love affair with orange at the moment.  I usually feel orange is more for fall, and then I realized how silly that is.  Orange is perfect for all year and I am embracing it with my arms wide open!

Framing Original Art

When I finished the den One Room Challenge I was lovingly gifted an original piece of art drawn by the talented Mari Robeson.  She surprised me on Instagram with the incredible depiction of the swan planter in the den and I am still blown away by her generosity.  The artwork is incredible and it captures the essence of the space in the room perfectly.  I still can't help but just stare at it and let my eye soak up all of the details.

Isn't it amazing?

When I thought of framing the piece I truly wanted to frame it with the same care as Mari put into each element of the painting.  I immediately thought of Framebridge.  I loved the piece so much and didn't want to add a mat and wanted the frame to truly fit the piece perfectly.  Framebridge framed a few of my son's graduation photos and they are my favorites in the gallery wall in the upstairs hall. The frames were perfect and the care they took with my original photos made a big impression on me.

If you have never worked with Framebridge you will immediately notice something special about their customer service.  You can either upload your photos to them for framing or they can ship you a container to ship your item to them.  Since my piece was an original I chose the second option.  A box arrived at my house and after putting my piece in it with the instructions they sent I dropped it off at UPS.  Easy, peasy.

About a week or so later another box arrived at my door containing my original framed art in the incredible frame I chose.  It was easy to make a decision once I uploaded a picture of my artwork and played around with frame options until I found the one I thought fit the piece perfectly.  I chose the Mandalay and it is truly so fabulous I almost can't stand it!  I mean thin gold bamboo frame ... you had me at hello!

I squealed when I opened the box.  I absolutely love it, the frame is just what I wanted for the piece and the care they took in framing my special piece has made me an instant Framebridge customer for life.  I mean ... you know how I feel about a handwritten note. #special

I could not be happier with my swan.  A special piece made just for me from a special room in our house framed just the way I hoped and now hanging in our bar area.  It makes me happy every time I spot it.  Isn't he darling?

Thank you Framebridge for the amazing customer service and the perfect product delivered to my door. We love it so ...

Happy Tuesday!

The Charm of Patricia Altschul

I am avid watcher of Southern Charm on Bravo.  I mean the friends and their drama is just deliciously sinful.  I love Charleston so and anything shot in the city has me signing up for multiple seasons.

TPC Loves The Loveliest

A few months ago I spotted the most darling monogrammed cocktail napkins while perusing Pinterest.  As a previous owner of a monogram company I have seen quite a bit.  When I spot something unusual I get so excited and then I scour the internet to find the company so that I may quickly share the details with all of you!

Let me introduce you to The Loveliest.  Founded by sisters Kelsey and Britni and their mother Joni in May of 2015 the store, located in Dallas, is known for its quality products with incredible monograms.  Kelsey shared with me they partnered together to open the store "with a unique aesthetic while offering beautiful products and in house personalization". Their first year of business "exceeded all of our expectations".  Their shop is booming and their popularity on Instagram has blossomed.  Their online shop launches in the next few months along with their own pillow line set to launch just after the online shop opens.

Once I spotted the darling pineapple monogram I quickly contacted them to order a set for myself and a bestie.  I mean, pineapple monogram, where have you been all of my life?  #swoon

Yes, I will admit, I have a monogram problem.  I love to entertain and monogrammed napkins just take those little soirees to the next level! Luckily for you I have this little obsession.  I am able to bring you the best of the best when it comes to all things monogrammed.  The Loveliest ranks up there in my favorites for sure!  I mean, look at all of their adorable designs ...

Aren't they incredible?

I have partnered with the girls at The Loveliest to giveaway a set of 4 pineapple cocktail napkins to one lucky reader.  Your cocktail hour will never look better!  The giveaway starts today and ends at 5 pm on July 15.

We will select a winner to be announced promptly at happy hour (EST) this Friday.

Good luck and Happy Monday lovies!!

Bar Cart Series ... No. 5 Teggy French

Don't you just love Friday?  The weekend is here and the possibilities for adventure are simply endless.   We are planning dinner alfresco on Saturday evening and lots of projects along the way.  I am taking advantage of every second sans Littles and tackling my massive to do list.  #eek

When I planned a bar cart series I knew it wouldn't be complete without including Teggy French. How do you compile a list of creatives and not include Alex?  Her style truly speaks to me. Every single thing she posts makes me swoon.

For the love of Leontine Linens

While I was shopping in downtown Highlands, NC this weekend I purchased a book I can't believe I haven't owned up to this point.  With my self confessed obsession with monograms I don't know how I have not previously owned Jane Scott Hodges book since she may truly be the queen of the elegant monogram.

Baby's Cottage

I love the movie Dirty Dancing and when it was first released I promise you I watched it more times than most people should.  I was obsessed with the lodge, the dancing and of course Baby.  I had Baby's hair style and I just knew we were meant to be friends.  Her white jeans and keds, yep, had those too.  I mean, I loved Baby.

Happy Fourth!

Happy birthday America!!  Is there anything better than a holiday to get the excitement going?  And what is it about the three holidays of summer that just up the ante?  I love them all ... Memorial Day, July 4th and Labor Day!  Can summer please slow down just a smidge??

Bar Cart Series ... No. 4 TPC Porch

Happy July 1 ... and happy holiday weekend!  Today's bar cart for the Bar Cart series is a bar I created for July 4th.  We are spending the evening with dear friends and our kids and will be spending most of our time on the porch.  The perfect thing about a bar or bar cart is that it can be set up where ever you need to best accommodate your serving needs. We spend so much time on the porch during the summer evenings, it is the perfect place to watch the sun set and spend time with friends and loved ones.
