Warby Parker Goes Archive

Remember this photo from this October 2015 post?  I had the pleasure of trying out five pairs of Warby Parker frames from their Home Try-On to debut their new fall frames.  I absolutely loved the company and the frames were fabulous.  I ended up purchasing the one in the image above, it was by far my favorite of the ones I chose to try on.  Since then my eye prescription has changed but the frames themselves are still timeless and perfect to carry to my eye doctor when my new appointment occurs.

My darling bestie Skipper and I went out on a fabulous fall day to take some pics of the frames and our day enjoying them all.  We had such fun, as we always do, and of course any day sporting gingham and fun frames is a win, win for sure.  Black gingham + booties + tortoise for days!

Here I am exactly two years later to share with you some fun news for all of us who are Warby Parker fans.  This fabulous eye wear company has recently launched an incredible Archive collection in both their eyeglasses and sunglasses.  I could not be more excited about this news as the new frames are right up my alley.  Preppy and timeless always speaks to my heart!  😎

The company has blended their "favorite (and most intricate) vintage design details with modern techniques".  The collection consists of five styles in seven color combinations.  They shared with me the following ...

For an extra-polished palette, we paired rich acetates like Rosewood Tortoise and Burnt Amber Tortoise with classic accents hues like Navy, Auburn, and Merlot. Then we rounded out the frames with some top-notch hardware: exposed titanium bridges, barrels hinges, Akulon-coated screw, and adjustable silicon nose pads for an easy, anti-slip fit. Voilà.

Just one of the options in the new collection ...

I am absolutely thrilled to share these new frames with you today.  You will love each and every one of them and the hardest part will be deciding which one to choose.  Always a good problem to have when you need glasses as I now do.

Aren't they fantastic?  I love the vintage feel with the mix of black and tortoise.  I am telling you choosing will not be an easy task for me.

At the moment since I need to update my prescription I see myself choosing these for everyday ...

What do you think?  I am a girl who traditionally chooses tortoise but those black sunnies have me all 😍 as well.  Oh, decisions!  And then there is the navy option ...

Stay tuned for my final decision ... Have a sunny Tuesday!

  1. Love Warby Parker! Do they still make the frames shown in the first photo of you? I would love to know the name of them. Thanks!
