Winter Park In Photos

Oh we had the best time last weekend, but honestly it was the perfect set up.  One of my favorite cities + one of my favorite people + my favorite season ... what could go wrong.  From the moment we walked across the parking lot to the rental car and I got my first whiff of hot and humid Florida air I was instantly in the best place emotionally.  The opportunity for this trip could not have come at a better time for me and I was ready for some relaxation + discovery + inspiration in the best location.  I honestly could not have planned it better!

I have two more posts this week on the trip ... where we stayed, what we did and then finally a travel guide for anyone who is new to the area.  I can not say enough good things about Winter Park.  I have been visiting since I was a small child and my grandparents would take me for a stroll "down the Avenue" and lunch and shopping at Jacobson's.  If it was Saturday we would stay until the 5 pm service at St. Margaret Mary church before heading home.  I have loved it always and to this day being in Winter Park feels the most like home.  It was the only choice for me after moving out of the dorm while I was attending UCF and it was home to me before I left to move to Georgia.  Winter Park is such a charming place with stunning homes, wonderful landscaping and fabulous shopping, not to mention it is a driving eye candy overload.

This is just a taste of what we saw and did, more details to come on Thursday!

Do you see what I mean?  So much goodness and in a lot of ways we didn't even take it all in.  That calls for another trip ... say October?

Happy Tuesday!
