Cheers With A Charleston Cocktail

As you well know I love to create a crafted cocktail.  The moment I invite people over or am asked to put something together I begin researching and thinking of the drink I would like to make.  I think it is just stays on the to do list along with hostess gift, grab flowers, and run to market. My go to for a while is to make a punch of some sort and then set it beside a selection of spirits to let the guests choose whether they would like something in their beverage or to keep it as is.  For the trip to Charleston I was inspired by both our darling pink + orange table and learning that Ocean Spray had created a pink cranberry juice.  I spotted it while shopping at the market and instantly knew it would be perfect for the drink I was asked to create.

I think I love creating cocktails because it is a small thing I can do which adds in even more creativity.  I love being creative and making drink recipes is just really fun.  I knew I would be making the cocktail with my go to Cathead Honeysuckle Vodka so I just had to decide what was left to add in to make it yummy and perfect for our celebration.  Since we were using oranges to add to the table decor it was an easy choice ... and such a yummy one.

As much as I like to pull together a recipe I also love to shop for fun cups, napkins and stir sticks to use.  For this collaboration I chose the Low Country cups and napkins from Emily McCarthy and Caroline added in the darling ginger jar stir sticks.  Aren't they so cute?

Promise me you will make this yummy cocktail for your next porch party or girls night in.  It is so yummy and so refreshing.  I love the mixture of the orange + cranberry juice with the addition of all the mint. It is so easy to make and it was truly de-lish! 🧡

I hope your Friday is amazing!
