Lilly, White + Blue

Anyone else super excited about a three day work week?  Yes please, especially after my fabulous trip last week.  With the Palm Beach trip still replaying in my memories I am sporting all my Lilly on repeat.  There is nothing I can wear that makes me feel more like a Florida girl than anything from Lilly Pulitzer and, since I picked up a bunch of pieces from Worth Avenue, it makes me feel like I am still very much on vacation. I call that a major win, win, don't you think?

This dress was one of the first pieces I had on my wish list when we popped in to go shopping and it is now a special piece for sure.  I wore it to take in the island on a bike ride and ended up in a crash in the street on Cocoanut Row.  Yep, sure did.  I wasn't hurt minus some bruises and the dress was still perfect but it is now something I love even more.  I mean ... a cute crab print + a funny story?  It is now a piece on major repeat.  It is also light and easy to wear and my new uniform seems to be a dress and slides and this piece fits all the bills for that one.

Since we have a short work week this week, and since I am feeling all the Americana vibes I set up the porch for a little early happy hour.  I love summer evenings on the porch where you can eat all the cheese, crackers and fruit, add in a glass of something chilled and call it dinner.  It is way to hot to cook or start up the grill, so I am all for the snack dinner idea.  I snagged some red roses + white hydrangeas for the porch and house and now we are completely in the July 4th spirit.  I also added two new pillows to the sofa ... this striped one and this darling one which is reversible.  They are both ideal for the patio and perfect for summer.

And a reversible pillow, yes please!

I spotted a great photo on Instagram and instantly turned this vase into a wine chiller.  What a fabulous idea, don't you agree?

The new pillows are such a great way to add some red, white + blue to our already blue theme.  I really loved all the choices, but these were just too cute to leave behind.

Do not be surprised if you see something very similar on our patio over the holiday weekend.  This set up was perfect and I will be recreating it quite a few times.  I also love it for brunch.  You could swap the wine out for champagne and add it to your glasses of juice.  Oh, how I love to be on our porch this time of year.

I rounded up some darling blue and white pieces from Lilly to add to your closet ... as you will be able to tell after all the Palm Beach photos come out I love the first four pieces the most. In my opinion you can never go wrong with anything from Lilly, it is all fabulous!

And all of my favorites from the amazing Pottery Barn pieces currently on sale.  So much Americana goodness!! And these shell chargers ... you need to get them, they are only $17 and you know you will be sad when I get mine and you want some for yourself.  That price is fantastic!!

I hope your Wednesday is amazing ... can you believe basically tomorrow begins the weekend?

Oh, yes please!
