I really have to ease into it especially when the temps outside are still warm and summery.

Now, orange isn't my favorite color but I did find a orange Pagoda lantern at HomeGoods a while back so I decorated it with glittery gold pumpkins around the base and a candle in the middle and it looks great on my faux bamboo dining room table.

I also found some teal (my favorite color) velvet pumpkins at Marshalls the other day and with my hot pink lantern and Foo Dogs my mantle is as Fall ready is its going to get. I might put some little witches hats on my Foo Dogs as Halloween nears. I also found a teal glass pumpkin and I have that on my foyer table with some vintage brass pheasants.

So while I am not a traditional red, orange and yellow Fall gal I manage to incorporate some Fall décor with more non-traditional colors.

Teresa Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12941565455848045138noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8564993811758796530.post-4321065492648191432017-09-19T12:55:28.557-04:002017-09-19T12:55:28.557-04:00Ah, not quite like you as fall is my most favorite...Ah, not quite like you as fall is my most favorite time of the year. The temps, the colors and activities (football) are perfection. This year I'm focusing on the yellows, greens and reds. And that picture of the red lunchbox takes me back to grade school when I had one just like it. I skipped it for the most part last year, but am slowly working on little things here and there this year. I am NOT a Halloween person, so it is more natural elements that last through Thanksgiving and then it is on to my favorite Christmas. Not a fan of bright orange, but don't mind it in a more muted rust color. For the life of me I cannot remember who paints the beautiful blue and white pumpkins, but you need them!!Simply LKJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06691860606573110974noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8564993811758796530.post-63521694704922665872017-09-18T17:43:52.819-04:002017-09-18T17:43:52.819-04:00You are not the only one! I haven't done too much decorating yet but I have rummaged through some of my bins in the basement. By the way, that room above is one of my all time favorites! Enjoy your week!
ShelleyCalypso In The Countryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10264873052810117169noreply@blogger.com
