Happy Monday! I hope you are greeted with a bluebird day, blue skies, and so much sun. The sun shining in my office windows each morning is doing wonders for my seasonal blues. There is just something about those grey days that makes me so unproductive!
How about a fun "things of note"? We are clearly overdue!
First up, have you heard? My favorite towel company has created a second, more affordable line. This is brilliant; Weezie gives its customers options, which are always clever ideas. I have not tried them, but I am definitely all in on the more expensive pieces, so I am sure I will also love them. You can check out the Weezie Basics line and its many products. I am sure they will be as beloved as everything else they create.
Well done friends.
It is no secret that I love fresh flowers in our home and shop for them almost every Monday. You may not know that I primarily shop at Trader Joe's and seem to prefer the Garden Roses vs the regular ones. They open better, smell incredible, and look better than the others in a bouquet. The roses I used on our Valentine's table, seen above, are a perfect example. I think they are superior.
We visited family last night for a game night and had the best time. We are a game family and love to sit around a table chatting, laughing, and competing. We recently added two games to our repertoire, and I think you would love all four of them. My oldest gave me the first two for my birthday, and then we were introduced to the other two last night. So much fun; I highly recommend them all.
I have added them to my entertaining list on Amazon for easy shopping.
Blockus - Block blast but on a board. Your goal is to use all your tiles while blocking others from playing. We laugh so hard during this game.
Sequence - basically connect four (but its five) with cards and teams.
Camel Up - betting game on camel racing, the most fun.
Carcassonne - individual building of cities, roads, and monasteries ... super easy but great fun.
Are you a needlepointer? I recently picked up four things at Target that have been so helpful for me while I stitch. The light is a game changer and attaches to the frame while I am working. The heart pins are just so fun, and the bags and cases are amazing for organizing.
This is the last item, but one of the best. Since I stopped buying Beautycounter (I'm not sure their company is stable), I switched to Merit Beauty. I loved my Flawless in Five set from BC and was really excited to find Merit has a very similar system and, once again, is a clean beauty. The set I purchased is this one, and I can't recommend it enough.
I hope your day is amazing ...
