Christmas In The Dining Room

Happy Saturday!  I am excited to share our dining room all decorated for Christmas with you today as part of the 12 Days of Holiday Homes. I am starting with the dining room which has become the epicenter of our home for special occasions.  If we are all gathered in the dining room we are together as a family sharing a special moment.  What better time to make it all beautiful than to celebrate the birth of Jesus.  And with the weather currently happening in Atlanta we are treated to a white Christmas.

Insert squealing and pure joy here!

I am always really excited to share our holiday decor and even more excited to pair up with other fabulous bloggers to do so.  Our tour is hosted by 11 Magnolia Lane and Evolution of Style and once again it is incredible to be a part of such a lovely tour.  The homes on this tour are so beautiful and you will want to look at each one of them over a large cup of coffee and bundled up in front of the fire.  I know that is my plan for most of the morning!

Since our dining room is pink with tons of blue accents and, of course, more pink ... I ran with it.  I added in white, gold and green and truly made it feel like a Christmas winter wonderland.  I love the outcome.  With a new flocked tree, vintage ornaments and all my favorite china I have created something I truly love to see as I pass the dining room.  I made some updates to the room before we decorated it and in many ways it felt like a new room.  I am so happy to be able to share it with you today!

I hope you love as much as I do.  I have so many things included in this room which mean so much to me but most of all I will have my precious people gathered around for Christmas.  As the kids get older and now that one of ours has moved out I have a new appreciation for how special family time is when it happens.  I always knew that any time we were together and gathered around a table meant so much to me, but this year it is even more special.

My most favorite addition to the room is our new rug.  I chose it from the Williamsburg + Capel Rug collection and it is perfect for the space.  I loved it the moment I spotted it at Highpoint and I am thrilled with how it looks in the room.  The flocked tree was a late Christmas surprise from my friend Lance and I immediately knew it would be perfect for this room.  I have always wanted a flocked tree and he made that wish come true.  These two things made the room truly special for me this year and I love seeing them.  A lot of the vintage ornaments in my collection came from The Cellar and I highly recommend them for your gift needs.  For me there is nothing more fun than gifting someone something vintage!

Merry Christmas from my favorite room and our family to you!!

You must check out the other lovely bloggers on the tour, each one is just as beautiful and charming as the next!  And thank you to our sponsor Lynchcreek Farms.  I will be hosting a giveaway for a live wreath of your own when mine arrives.  I am so excited to share with you the one I chose this year.  All of their wreaths are stunning and this one will be my new favorite for sure!!
