Tuesday Thrift ... #thriftingwithlance

Thrifting any time is a good thing ... but thrifting with a bestie?  Even better!!  I spent the day with Lance on Friday helping him gather items for High Point and client projects ... and of course scouting for myself!
We literally found a van full of amazing items!  I was searching for a few different things ...

First ... I needed a round stool for the vanity area of the master bathroom.  I wanted a round one to help soften all the square edges in the room.  Found this baby at the first stop ... $24

BAM!!

And let's talk about the large brass swan ... I see it on the side of the tub holding rolled up hand towels.  Yes?

Love these!  I was looking for something to work with the art I have selected for the sides of the tub area.  Greek key brass candle holders ... perfect!  And the pair was only $28.  I am so excited about these!  They will pair with my Pink Pagoda art perfectly!  A One Room Challenge is complete for me without Jennifer's art!

And this is just a sampling of the remainder of the items I scored.

I have a thing for brass swans, duh, and that swan basket will be perfect for the ORC.  No idea how I will use it yet, but I love it!

The silhouette is already hanging in my new gallery wall in the study.  That baby is huge and reminds me of my smallest child.  I do love a gallery wall ... and I will post about that on Friday.  The adorable painting is hanging with the silhouette .. actually right above it to be exact!

The blue and white!  Does it ever get old?  I know I will use the lidded piece in the bathroom as part of my "spa area"  and I am still deciding on the blue willow saucers.  Let me share with you I scored six of them at $1 each.  Leaving them behind was not an option!

I would say my favorite score of the day were these ...

I am over the moon excited about these!  I love the colors of these Asian porcelain pieces!  The trio of jars was found on stop one and the vase at the next stop. Don't they pop in my very colorful rooms?  I see some plates in my future!

Don't tell the hubs!

It was a great day of thrifting, laughing and memories!

But aren't all BFF outings perfect?

xo,
MPM
