On the road again ...

Yep, I am hitting the road again!

I do love a road trip and heading someplace I haven't been before is always exciting.

#amen

I am taking off today while it is still dark to head to attend the Nashville Flea Market and from there I will be making my way to Memphis.

Excited doesn't describe it ... I can't wait to arrive at my dear friend Natalie's door on Friday evening!  She rocks my world!!

Any great tips for Nashville or Memphis?

Follow along on Instagram ~ be back on Monday ...

Happy Weekend!

  1. Nashville is a blast - everywhere is fun. If you like a great deli then try "Noshville" right downtown. I took Mollie on a secret Mother/Daughter trip a couple of years ago to Memphis because Chi O's National HQ is there. We did a lot of fun stuff - I did a post - but we thoroughly enjoyed having happy hour at the amazing Peabody and watching the ducks!! We went more than once to the gorgeous bar in that iconic hotel. Have fun - there is a ton to do in Memphis as well - we also enjoyed walking across the bridge at Mud Island. I love a good road trip too- actually any trip :) Have fun!!

  2. Yay!!! How fun! My sweet mama was from Memphis. About the only thing I haven't done there is Graceland. Ha. Happy hour at the Peabody is a must. We usually follow it up with dinner at the Rendezvous (although I've heard it's changed recently). Lots of great little local shops, but also a Williams Sonoma outlet! Have a wonderful trip!!!

  3. Have a fantastic trip! Just read that Reese Witherspoon's shop, Draper James, is opening a brick and mortar in Nashville this Fall. Doubtful it's open yet, but definitely worth investigating!

  4. Nashville was like my second home when I lived in Atlanta. LOVE that city!! You must go to the 12 South shopping district . . . very similar to my old neighborhood of Virginia-Highland! Have fun!!
