Recently I was chatting with a darling friend about creating something for me. She is super creative, an incredible artist and someone I am loving getting to know. Don't you love how secretive I am being ... I promise it will be worth it!
As we were chatting about me and the things I love she suggested I make a list of things that were me. I suggested that I could pull together a little pile of things that I felt like described who I was. Obviously I am wife and mother, but she wanted to know more about me. It was very sweet and I was more than willing to oblige.
A lot like this activity I embarked on for an interview with Emily McCarthy I really got into the exercise. I tried to pick things that truly represent my likes. Like I said before I am absolutely a wife and a mama, but this was just about me as me. It was super fun and I spent a while gathering things and editing. I did the same for the Hubs and his was very different than mine, as it should be.
I challenge you to do the same. It was a fabulous amount of time spent gathering all the things that I felt represent me. I truly think you would love it as much as I do.
Yep, pretty much exactly who I am . The only thing it is missing as I look back on it would be my Louie bag, my constant companion Miles (our JRT), a large unsweet tea with extra ice, my leopard flats, my favorite belt and a vase of flowers.
I can't wait to see what my friend does with these photos ... and I can't wait to share it with you! #eek
If any of you do this for yourself, please pop me an email if you would like to share yours. I would love to see it!
Happy Wednesday lovies ...
I don't even really know you but I think I could match you up with your vignette :) Cute idea!
