Bloggers Homes Vol. 1

I love to see inside the home of a creative.  There are so many times I am online going down a rabbit hole of someone's blog and just think to myself ... wow, we would be the best of friends!  Today I have compiled my favorite rooms in the homes of six bloggers. Every one of them I follow daily, know in real life and can promise you this.  They are all beautiful, kind and talented beyond measure. And their homes, #yesplease!

First up is the office of Amanda who writes the lifestyle blog Dixie Delights.  I just love this space she has created for herself and her boys to tackle their homework.

There are so many things I love about Amanda's home.  Her soothing color palette is repeated in each room. She is true to her coastal roots and you can immediately tell with each photo of her love for Savannah.  Her office is the only true girly space in the house and she adds bits of pink and green with each holiday.  I just love every single thing about this home, and of Skipper, especially being invited over for drinks and girl talk!

I also truly love how each room of her house flows perfectly.  She has used the same color palette over and over making the home feel like one large continuous space.  I tell her all the time when I get a house on the beach I will do the same.  Pick a few colors and use them over and over again.  Until then, I will love in my big box of colors.  xo

Jennifer's master bedroom can be seen in her One Room Challenge reveal on her blog Dimples and Tangles.

First off, she transformed this room is six short weeks and worked her fanny off for the duration of the challenge. I watched as she painted, sewed and created her dream bedroom with her own two hands.  I must confess the more One Room Challenges I do, the less DIY I use.  It is a huge undertaking and she did it all with the grace and smile she wears daily.  Her room is full of color and incredible details. These photos only show a snippet of the large and amazing space.  Well worth the read and also to go back and watch her work her magic over the six week period.

Jennifer creates the most incredible mantles.  I think this one for Christmas was the first one I saw and immediately fell in love.  I like how she thinks outside the box to produce some incredible creations.  She inspires me to throw caution to the wind and put just about anything on my mantle!

Ashley is a bundle of pink glitter and one darling girl.  She recently transformed her powder room in the home they built when they moved from California to Texas about a year ago.  The rest of the happy bathroom can be seen here on her life and style blog Fancy Ashley.

I love so many things about this room.  First the wallpaper makes me giddy. I almost chose the exact paper for my laundry room last year in a different color wave.  I was sad to see it not make the final cut.  I think it is absolutely perfect for this powder room where all guests will most definitely visit. That white tile is gorgeous and the sink is on my covet list.  I just adore how she paired her favorite mirror with each element in the room bringing them together to create a darling space.  Almost as cute as she is herself.  xo

And the brass pineapple?  It was a gift from your's truly and I am thrilled she loves it so!

Ashley's food and drink posts are ah-mazing!!  Every single thing she makes is even more yummy than the last.  I can highly recommend her charcuterie platters and of course the mojitos!  Is it Friday yet?

Kristin's kitchen is the bomb.com!  She partnered with Martha Stewart Living to create the kitchen of her dreams.  The dramatic before and after can be seen on her design blog The Hunted Interior

There are so many things I love about this kitchen.  First of all I am a sucker for an all white kitchen. I just love the crispness it provides to my eye. The tile, the counters, the open shelving. That seating and the table.  #yesplease.  I love watching Kristin transform her house and make it better and better. With each space she tackles I am more and more impressed.  I can't wait to see what she is up to next.

Her backyard is to-die-for!!!  That deck and the wall of plates, are you kidding me??  I will take it all and can I have it delivered please?

Cassie's living room is a space I dream of when I sleep.  She completed it as a fellow invited participant in the Fall 2015 One Room Challenge.

I knew it would be good once she revealed her mood board.  I had no idea I would fall out of my chair when the reveal hit the internet.  Dear heavens it is GOOD!!!  Cassie and her family just celebrated a year in their new home and she is tackling one room at a time to make it their forever home.  If this is any idea of what she is capable of, I am in for gluing myself to the blog to watch it unfold.

I love the fence around her pool and her bonus room has my wheels turning so fast there is smoke coming from my ears.  I just adore Cassie and her darling family and her posts brighten my week!

Mallory is gorgeous and her front room is as well!  Her life and style blog Style Your Senses has taken off with a bang since her re branding about a year ago.  I love that she knocked down the walls and made it exactly what she wanted it to be!

I love that the room is bright and glamorous, but not one bit stuffy.  Her bar cart allows her guests to be served and completely entertained in the same space.  Those white walls are speaking to me in a way I didn't think I would ever admit.  And that concrete coffee table ... oh yes please!  Mallory's style in both her fashion and her home is spot on and this room is one of many in her home that I adore!  Her guest room has me wanting to book a night for sure!  And her master bedroom is incredible ... it may be the definition of serene and relaxing!!

I gain so much inspiration from fellow bloggers, especially ones with the talent of these amazing girls.  I love following their lives, peeking into their homes and most importantly having the precious opportunity to know each of these ladies.  Such a fun way to start the new season!  Don't you think?

If you don't follow these bloggers you are in for a true treat!!  You will adore each of them as much as I do!

Happy March!

  1. Seriously what an honor...not only that one of my all time favorite people (that would be you, Paige!) chose my home to be featured, but also to be included with the other bloggers that are featured! Thank you for making my day and for being a constant source of inspiration both personally and as a blogger. Big hugs to you, mama!
