Hostess Hour with Emily McCarthy

On Wednesday I drove to Savannah to attend a Hostess Hour at the Emily McCarthy Shoppe.  I was beyond excited since I was the guest of honor.  I mean, does it get any more fun?  We had such a great time and I loved meeting so many fun girls from Savannah along with all of Emily's besties.  It was simply THE BEST time!!

If you haven't had the chance to visit Emily's shop you must add it to your list.  It is gorgeous and is filled with so many amazing things.  I could have walked out with one of everything and did take some incredible happies with me that I can't wait to use!  I always try to purchase something when I travel that will instantly remind me of my time away.  A few books, an amazing palm frame and two antique pieces.  I will mark that box checked!

If you were unable to join us you can watch the Hostess Talk live from Facebook Live linked here and see photos from the event on Emily's blog here. Her photos from the event are fabulous. My favorite part about chatting about any subject is the question section.  I love to hear what people think and the questions they ask.  You know I love a good Q + A.  These girls were amazing with their questions which made me realize they were truly there to learn.  I hope they enjoyed me as much as I loved each one of them!!

Life is just better with Besties.  This lovie drove down from Charleston so we could make it into a 24 hour girls trip.  My time with Krystine Edwards is never long enough and the giggles always leave me wanting so much more!!

Clearly we had the best time ...

We chatted about styling coffee tables, bookshelves and mixing patterns.  Three of my favorite subjects, as styling anything is my most favorite thing! I have included the tips from the cocktail table section in this post from Wednesday and I shared tips from the mixing patterns in Thursday's post.

To round out the trip I stopped by a few of my favorite places, old and new on Thursday morning.  And, of course, I had to stop into the Shoppe and grab up some goodies before I left.  I simply died over the new Sasha Nicholas items in the Shoppe with Emily's couture monograms.

Can you stand it?  That is my amazing couture monogram on a Sasha bowl.  I immediately fell in love and made a wish list.  I want six large plates with gold edges, six napkin rings and six tiny berry bowls.  I will have to add to my collection slowly since my list is so long, but it will be worth every single plate, bowl and napkin ring.

Thank you Emily for asking me to come and for the darling girls who came out to meet me and spend their cocktail hour with us.  It was so fun, I can't wait to do it again!!

Happy Monday!
