My Travel Picks

When I travel I always pack the super cute and colorful things in my closet.  Something that makes me truly feel like I am celebrating while I am away.  Travel day is another story.  You must be comfortable and yet able to make a quick change when you arrive to make sure you are ready to hit the ground running.

Whether I am driving or flying I prefer to travel in a light jean.  I get chilly on a plane and I crank up the air when I am driving so as not to nod off on long trips.  So, the jean is the perfect option either way.  This jean is my absolute new favorite pair of pants.  Comfy and not short waisted so I am constantly worried my bum makes its debut when I bend down to pick something up.  You know exactly what I am referring to!

The best part about this outfit plan is I can easily make a few changes when I arrive to be able to meet for drinks or dinner.  The popover is the perfect day to night top since it is incredibly comfortable and super cute! I can swap out my comfy converse for my gold sandals.  Change out my monogram earrings for a darling and lightweight tassel.  Replace the big travel tote for a small clutch. And of course take my hair out of its top knot with scarf tied and let it down.  And in all occasions add in a bright lip ... it will instantly take away the focus from any puffiness in your eyes from travel.  For that matter, so will a darling pair of eyeglasses!

Happy Thursday lovies ... I am off to do a few last minute things and in the car for the drive to Florida.
