Fall Must Haves with TE Style

I absolutely love when my favorite stylist drops in with her season must haves post.  Tiffany has the most impeccable taste and picks such fun and fabulous things for the new trends.  She is back today with her picks for fall and they are as amazing as ever!

If you are new to this series you can read up on previous TE Style posts here and make sure to follow her on Instagram.  You will come to adore Tiffany just as much as I do!

Without anymore of my chit chit ... here is Tiffany!

As temperatures drop, the only thing that is keeping my chin up about summer’s end is the great fall style that comes with the change of the season. From luxurious fabrics to rich jewel tones, this Fall is all about romantic, textured and gilded pieces. I never met a metallic I didn’t love so I’m excited to jump head first into this Autumn’s must haves! Here are some highlights for inspiration:

Fret not that summer ‘16 style is so last season. Everything we loved about embroidered and tasseled pieces is popping up in 2.0 fall versions. This great dress can take you right from 70 degree weather into cooler temps. Throw a turtleneck under it for a true fall look.

Velvet Jacket…and matching pants

Yes, it’s a suit. This season’s must-have fabric is velvet and I see no reason why you can’t do velvet head to toe. What’s so smart about a purchase like this navy Frame ensemble is that both pieces can carry you from September to February. Wear the jacket with jeans or over your holiday dresses, wear the pants with, well, everything. But it doesn’t get more chic than a velvet pantsuit. Get both. You won’t regret it.

It’s this season’s hue. But If you’re a blonde like me and wear mustard only to find that you look like you’re having morning sickness, opt for pants or maybe even a mustard bag. Doesn’t matter where you don the color, just throw it in the mix.

I wouldn’t be doing a rundown if I didn’t include a leopard piece. It’s a staple. It’s a must.
Dressy…casual…..do it.

THIS piece....wear so many ways. Sometimes my children run when they see me with a can of gold spray paint in fear of me painting their toys. Metallics for me are like underwear. Must haves.

We spent our summer baring both shoulders so now we can warm things up by covering up one. This navy version of the asymmetrical trend is the perfect dawn-to-dusk-piece

Don’t let the blue gingham fool you! The bell sleeves, the wine embroidery, I bought this top the second I saw it and plan to wear on repeat all fall long.

YAY to these bad boys sticking with us. All those suede-ankle-strap-block heels can stick with us through the cool temps. I’m thrilled we don’t have to pack these shorties up with the beach towels.

A great layering piece and a silky version is another great way to go from 9 to 9. I love this dark floral in a small scale. Remember that velvet suit I told you to buy? This will be its best friend.

If I could belt a blanket I would. Once the temps drop below 70 degrees I give myself permission to wrap up in any wooly mammoth type piece. A great sweater vest keeps you cozy without looking like you’re in a housecoat. This reversible one is the perfect layering piece!

And don't miss the accessories!

I love a good dickey. If you’re digging the whole secretary-tie-blouse thing, this is the answer to your prayers. This line has a variety of dickeys. If you run hot, this piece is for you to layer under a sweater.

A new twist on the tassel statement earring. Obsessed.

This rolls up all my favorite trends into one – wine, block heel, pointed toe. A great go to shoe with jeans or dresses.

Having worn a uniform for 16 years, I never met a loafer I didn’t love, so I’m thrilled that the classic stepper is back and in so many bold options! This silver metallic is classic with an twist, so I am clicking add to cart on these metallic loafers as we speak.

As per usual she is amazing and her picks are always spot on.  I am going to struggle a little with the mustard color, I am not going to lie ... I may need to keep it strictly set aside for scarves.  We shall see!

Happy Thursday lovies!!
