I settled on a pink and gold theme for the table. Pink and gold for New Years ... what could be more perfect for us? I left all of our pups dressed for dinner and added a few more but traded all the bows for pink ones. I pulled all of the blue and green details from the table and added in more gold and pink. It quickly became perfect for the evening.
My favorite thing about setting tables is using all of our favorite things. My favorite antique monogram Limoges plates, our gold bamboo flatware and our collection of brass wine glasses are just a few of the things we have collected that mean so much to me. And I am very excited to report they look perfect together.
And to start the evening a few cheers matchbooks from Sequins & Lipstick in the perfect color combination to light the candles and start the new year. The only thing missing in the photos is our southern meal, pork, black eyed peas, collard greens and cornbread. It was truly delicious!
Every holiday should be spent sitting around a special table and I truly love setting one for our family to create memories. To me there is nothing better than a evening spent with those I love gathered around our table.
Cheers to the New Year!!
Every time I visit your blog it puts a smile on my face. It's just such a happy place!
ReplyDeletePaige, your pink and gold table is a delightful start to 2017. I would want to keep the stacks of gorgeous plates out forever. Lush and elegant in their gold details. Are the monogramed Limoges family pieces? What is the pattern? Love the bamboo flatware. I had the opportunity to buy a set last year, but passed it by. Looking at yours makes me regret that decision. This table is absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour pups with their boys are very festive. My pups are wearing red tartan bows this season, and even though I've packed up Christmas, I left the bow on my doggies. It gives them a little winter scarf. ;-)
Happy New Year!
