Bring on the warmer temps and long sunny evenings ...
I love color, as you know, and this darling tablecloth just spoke to me. How can you not love all things citrus? I paired it with some blue and white porcelain and our blue flow plates and the rest came together perfectly.
I have been using our Staffordshire pups at the table and I love tying ribbons about their necks for some extra love. Every pup looks better with a bow! I also pulled out our gold bamboo flatware which pairs well with everything we own. A little hand washing after dinner and it is back in the drawer waiting for its next debut.
I pulled some one of our double happiness jars for the center piece and added in three small blue and white jars and used florals in all four. Yellow roses paired with forsythia was a perfect combination for the spring table I was setting. I love forcing branches, they are beautiful and they last so long. I also pulled Lawyer's grandmother's antique green glasses for the event. They are pale but add just the perfect little pop of green to play off the antique green plates.
The finishing touch ... these incredible green pagoda napkins from Ballard Designs paired with yellow flower napkin rings from Pier One. I was almost giddy when I spotted these and I snatched them up in both yellow and pink!
I am already planning the next dinner party in my head, something blue and white with a touch of orange sounds completely divine. Add in some orange roses and kumquats and it will be perfect.
This table is the perfect one to launch a new series I have been working on called Table Tuesday which will begin next week. I will have a different table set up each week and you can shop some of the items from the set table. I get a lot of comments and emails asking where I find things and this series is something I am very excited to launch.
Fun tables you can shop from, does it get any better than that?
Happy Tuesday, let's get the warm weather going!

Great series idea!! I am in love with that lemon tablecloth - so fun and cheerful. Can't beat blue and white paired with yellow!
ReplyDeleteWould love to dine at your place! Bright, Beautiful, and...Happy. : )
ReplyDeleteLove this idea, Paige. I'm trying not to tempt myself with more tabletop things, but one never knows. I never say never! '-)
ReplyDeleteLove all the blue and white with the yellow roses. Yellow roses are very special to me. After we lost my dad suddenly when I was just out of college, my mom and I would send each other yellow roses. It was our message to each other to put a little sunshine back in our lives. When we lost my mom a few years ago (she was 99), we handed out yellow roses to each person to place on the casket. Your post brought back a flood of memories. Thank you, sweet friend.
