catstudio Catalog

If you happened to spot a few posts and stories on Instagram then you know my living room is on the cover of the new catstudio catalog. This was such a fun project for me and I was so excited when the offer came to style my home for their catalog.  I can recall the phone call in early October of last year when I tried to understand all she was asking.  My house + their products for the catalog, I could barely take it all in. When the details were finalized and I was aware of all they needed the true fun began.  On a very cold two days in early December Christina Wedge and I worked together to create the images they needed.  We shot both inside the house and outside (in puffy jackets with a lot of hot coffee) and had the best time.  It had recently snowed and I recall being worried that the trees and greenery would look dead (because they were!) Christina just laughed at me and worked her magic and my house looks like it was shot on a warm day in spring instead of a freezing day in the middle of winter. We had the best time and it was absolutely the most fun I have ever had styling a project.

I met the girls (Ginny Ball + Rachel Camfield) of catstudio in Charleston at my very first Southern C Summit.  I instantly connected with both of them and when Rachel left to pursue her own business she became my life + brand coach and remains the best pocket cheerleader.  Ginny and I have worked together a few times since that first meeting and I just love her energy and her passion for the brand.  I was truly so excited to work on this project and get to know even more team members.

One of the easiest parts for me in this styling project was working with a brand I love and truly stand behind.  We have a few pillows + dish towels and quite a few glasses and I love what I own.  One of my favorite things to collect is a treasure from a trip I have taken and each of the glasses I have collected and use quite often takes me right back to the travel and memories made.   I love that my Golden Isles cups remind me of vacations in St. Simons and on Sea Island and when I use them I think of all we did and the wonderful days and evenings we shared. I highly recommend these glasses for wedding gifts, birthday happies and to celebrate anniversaries and graduations.

I also really love their hand towels.  They are so cute for napkins at a casual dinner party, as towels in the kitchen or powder room and as gifts for friends and family.

I can't tell you how excited I was to see the finished project in the brand new catalog.  I may have squealed in the showroom a few weeks ago when the girls handed it to me.  It looks so amazing in print and even better in person, each of you should order one and keep on hand for gift ideas.  So many amazing new products were released and they all require a look, I really like the pouches and the coffee cups! I am thrilled with every single image they used, including the one they asked for of just me.  It was an honor to style this project and it is so exciting to see it complete.

Thank you catstudio for the opportunity to style this project for you ... it was an honor, and I can't wait to work together again very soon!

Have the best Wednesday ...
