I admire so many designers for the talent and incredible work and Sarah Bartholomew is definitely on that list. I love her approach to classic Southern style with all of the warm and intentional details she adds into her work. When her home graced the pages of the September 2016 Southern Living I know I was one of many who read it over and over trying to take in all of the incredible views and details.
One of my favorite spaces in her home was her fabulous entry way. I absolute love the Pierre Frey wallpaper and the touches of white, blue + white porcelain, wicker and the amazing french blue slipcovers on the chairs. I think that blue may be my favorite shade of all things blue. Entry spaces can be so difficult to style and, in my opinion, she nailed it perfectly. It is no surprise to me that she has partnered with Pottery Barn for a capsule collection to decorate this sometimes hard space ... your entry way.
Architectural Digest announced the fabulous pairing yesterday and I immediately headed to Pottery Barn to check it out. I was hoping it would be white + wicker and I was so thrilled when that is exactly what is included in this collection along with a lovely rug and a few amazing gold + white pieces. The 15 piece collection is perfect to style your entry no matter what color you have in your space or which wallpaper pattern you have chosen to grace your walls.
Don't you love it? I am completely obsessed with these trays, the umbrella stand (which I will be using to house wrapping paper in my office) and this incredible mirror. Truly, it is all stunning. I have been working on the chest in our entry for a few weeks moving things around and just the other day I was thinking a tray on top of the books would be amazing to collect things that appear in the area. The Madeline tray makes me very happy and I will be popping into my local shop to see if I can snag either one. I love wicker and I think her wicker pieces are truly perfect.
I might need to snag that incredible Portofino vase and that incredible coral cluster while I am at the store. And that lemon branch ... I may need to start growing lemons, or at least put them in a bowl on the entry!
Which piece is your favorite? You can shop mine all of mine below ...
Happy Thursday!
