I have pulled some fun things to pack for the weekend. I tried to make sure I chose things that can be ordered quickly ... or shopped locally so they can all be snagged before you head out or before the relaxation begins. I am really excited about this round up, such cute stuff for you to snag.
First of all pull a great bag to pack ... Add in a great blanket, also perfect for the lake + the beach and a wonderful picnic. Toss that into your tote and then add in some sunscreen. I am really happy using safe sunscreen for my whole family. We have both the lotion and this stick and both of them get daily use when we are outside. To hold our sunscreen I love this bag. I can wipe it clean if anything spills inside and I love it for my liquids when I fly. The only thing missing from your bag is a good pair of shoes + a good book + a fun hat. Oh ... and do not forget a few hair ties, these are truly the best you can buy! You are ready for just about any day out.
I found such cute things on sale at my favorite shops. For me it will be a combination of white jean shorts, chambray tops, and a dress or two. If it gets chilly at all I will add in a white jean or some cropped jeans and a fun top. I am striving for a comfortable + cute look and a simple but fabulous shoe. It seems to be a uniform for me lately. I seem to wear these shoes on repeat, but do you blame me?
Last, but not least for sure, some great shoes to complete your look for the weekend. I seem to rotate between my leather sandals, my gingham Tretorns, and my Birk sandals. They are all easy to wear, so comfy and complete almost any outfit. If I am headed out and need a little more in the shoe department, I go with my espadrilles. I am telling you ... I seem to have a uniform lately and I am just trading out a piece or two if I need to, and I am perfectly happy with it. While pulling shoes for the post I found one of my favorite pairs of shoes comes in Neon Orange ... what a fun shoe to transition to fall! And at only $55 I think it is a must have for sure!
I am so inspired to plan something fun for the long weekend. Since Lawyer usually rests more on the weekend I see day trips in our plans ... I need to make some decisions, and research something super fun! Right now on my radar ... a baseball game, a day trip for a Balloon festival and some tubing. We shall see, but I am excited, especially with all of these cute options to pack!
