Starfish And Stripes

As you know I am a huge fan of all things Giddy Paperie.  Leslie Chalfont has been the focus of a number of blog posts and honestly I just adore her.  Leslie is a great supporter of mine and the admiration is mutual.  She is a darling friend, lovely hostess and a fabulous wife and mother.  Can you tell I think a lot of her??  I think one of my favorite things about Leslie is that she is a true artist.  She is always creating and if you follow along with her Instagram stories you will see her sketching and painting all the time.  I love to watch her create and see the inspiration behind her drawings and paintings.  As someone who doesn't even draw a heart that well I think it is pretty magical.

Don't you just love her work?  Yes please!

When Leslie shared her newest creation with me I knew immediately it would be a huge hit.  Not only are the products perfect for summer and all things patriotic but the details are so fabulous.  I would almost call it an ideal Florida summer flag as the stars and stripes are perfect for the Florida girl in me, and every single lake and beach house.  I think it would be ideal for your porch as well, and most definitely amazing on mine.

The Starfish and Stripes Collection consists of two pieces, a mug and a pillow.  The pillow is a wonderful size at 14 x 20 and is perfect to add to a chair by itself or to pair with a gathering of pillows on a sofa.  The mug is a 16 oz ceramic mug and the back is just as beautiful as the front. The stars are starfish and the stripes are created of hibiscus flowers.  Does it get any more perfect for summer ... and for me?

Leslie recently shared this information with me and I am so thankful she did.  She is so kind and humble but she should be shouting this little bit of news from the rooftops.  We all need to be so much better about self promotion, do you think??  Leslie's work has been featured on the TODAY Show, in Southern Living and Atlanta Constitution Journal, among others. She was also selected at Top 10 Designers to Watch for the Stationery industry a couple of years ago.  Of course she was ... you go girl, I am so proud of you and thankful you shared all of this with me. 

You can purchase both pieces on the website, but as it happens with everything Leslie creates, grab it soon as they will sell out.  If you need a hostess gift these two are perfect and you most definitely need a pair of mugs for your home and a pillow ... or two!
