Six Things I Bought + Loved ... Vol. 8

While pulling this post together I realized there were a number of things I bought recently and really, really love, so there will be more than six items plus a few things that are on my radar.  Spring is in full swing and there are some darling dresses on the market + sandals + a few things I have seen and am completely smitten with.  So, all of that to say, this post will be longer than usual because I have so much to share. 💙 

First up, dresses!  I ordered this tunic dress a month or so ago and love it.  I have worn it as a dress with sneaks and it is very comfortable. This week I ordered two more dresses (for an upcoming trip) and I can't wait for them to arrive.  I love wearing dresses and sandals or sneakers, it is so comfy!!  So in addition to the original dress I have this one and this one on the way.  I was influenced by two friends to check them out and I think they are both darling.  I don't have a lot of orange and green is always a great option! Both of the new dresses are on sale ... so snag them quickly.  I also ordered a few pair of sandals that I will share with you when they arrive.  I have a go to when it comes to sandals ... as in I usually wear only one style. 😂

Second ... the best candles.  My friend Nicole sent me a link for some tapers a while back and I order four pairs immediately.  I have been negligent in sharing, but they are so good.  I was going to share them on our Easter table and then when we had Easter at the beach I didn't do a table.  So ... we are just talking about them now.  They are hand painted and darling.  I bought both the pink and the blue. The bow is identical to the Vista Alegre Rabun Blue if you are a collector.  I am telling you, they are so good!

I have partnered with Peepers who sent me two new pairs of glasses, one of which you can see in the image above.  I love glasses, I mean ... if you need to wear them it might as well be some fun and fabulous pairs.  I am trying out these frames and a pair of sun readers which I think will be the best for reading and stitching outside.  Stay tuned ... a fun announcement coming soon!  

Also, if you are looking for a candle other than a taper I suggest you choose Rose Water from Southern Bungalow.  It is a new scent for them, and it is so very good.  She sent me one to try a few weeks ago and it has been lit every single day I am home.  I love how floral it is, but also so subtle.  I love a great candle, and I love to choose one that is safe and Southern Bungalow uses coconut oil, so you can be assured you aren't burning something toxic. 

I received a new book for media review and I can quickly say I love it.  Kerrie Hess' Joy In The Little Things is darling from the front cover to the back. With the combination of precious water color art and the life tips that are so helpful, it's a great read and a perfect gift.  The cover is the prettiest pink, which of course I loved immediately, and the tips are spot on.  She breaks down her tips into home, style, and travel and to be perfectly honest if I ever wrote a book it would be so similar.  I love that she shares so many great bits of common sense and tips for finding joy every single day. This would make a great Mother's Day gift!

Masks ... we are still wearing them so make sure they are cute!  I snagged a few of these from a cute seller on Etsy and love them.  The Liberty prints are darling and I love the shape of them, they seem to fit me really well. I have four or so from this shop and they are my definite favorites. 💕

I just bought the cutest shower cap and I can't wait for it to arrive.  My old shower cap was finally ready for retirement and I have wanted this one for quite some time.  Kitsch makes a bunch of darling patterns, but of course, this one was a must for me! 🌴  A shower cap would be another great Mother's Day gift ... and the price is so good, get her two.

The cutest shoes.  I have shared before that I really love Margaux ballet flats, but their new release is quite possibly the best.  Margaux partnered with Schumacher and the prints are so good.  I am partial to the mule but all of the prints are so pretty and so girly.  They drop May 11 and I have my alarm set to check them out.  My demi flats are the most comfortable shoes I own and that is from the first time you put them on.  I am telling you, I can not wait!
