What is better than besties in cute dresses with yummy pink drinks? I am not sure, but the only thing I can think of would be having them all together in the same room at the same time. If you follow me on Instagram, and you should, you will see that I just published a carousel of my darling friends all wearing a Sue Sartor dress and holding their favorite pink drink. They are all gorgeous, talented, and wicked smart and each of them brings something unique and special to this mix. Plus, they all have delicious pink drink recipes to share with you. 💗
To begin I made my favorite pink drink, a Cosmopolitan. It is the perfect mix of tangy and ice cold and I love holding it in a great crystal martini glass. This post today was inspired by the dress designer Sue Sartor who said I should most definitely host a round of Pink Drinks with Paige. I immediately thanked her for the inspiration and got to work inviting my precious friends. I am wearing the Paloma Flounce in Dahlia Rose, a beautiful true pink dress with just a touch of the happiest yellow. Perfect for any day and most definitely the ideal choice to pair with a pink drink.
1 cup vodka
1/2 cup triple sec
1/2 cup cranberry juice
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well and pour through a strainer into four martini glasses. If you are making just one you can divide the ingredients by four but I definitely recommend sharing with friends.
And now, my friends ...
1 oz. Cranberry Juice
1/2 oz. Lime Juice
1/2 oz Lemon Juice
1/2 can of Lime Soda Water
2 tsp. of Maple Syrup or Agave
OPTIONAL : 1-2 oz of Tequila

The one and only Sue Sartor! Sue is an kind hearted and talented clothing designer and the creator of every single one of our dresses. Sue is one of the loveliest women I know and I was so excited to reconnect with her at the recent Southern C Summit. I first met Sue two years ago in the bathroom at The Cloister and she was so kind and loving when I complimented her dress. She said ... "thank you, I designed it" and little did I know at that moment that her designs and her brand were about to blow up in the best way possible. Fast forward two years and Sue was so sweet when I approached her to reintroduce myself and she greeted me with a warm hug and a simple ... "how could I forget you?" . She is wearing the Paloma Flounce in Watermelon Lattice + Lillies and drinking a delicious looking Sazerac Champagne Cocktail. Isn't she effortlessly amazing? I can tell you Sue makes magic dresses. They are so soft, so comfortable, and look amazing on every single person wearing them. That is definitely pure magic and worth every single penny. 😍
The recipe ...
Sazerac Champagne Cocktail
Herb Saint Absinth, to rinse the glassRinse a chilled Old Fashioned glass or champagne coup with the absinthe, fill with crushed ice and set aside. Add the Sazerac, muddle the sugar and bitters into a mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled. Discard the ice and any excess absinthe from the prepared glass, and strain the drink into the glass. Express the lemon peel oils over the top of the drink, and garnish with the peel.
Top with champers!

Happy Saturday evening ...
All of these dresses are so beautiful. I have been making my own dresses since I was 10 years old and am considering trying to make a pattern for one. I noticed the stitching on your dress and the tension on the sewing machine used for your dress was not correct. If you notice the threads at the collar were not pulled into the fabric and if you pulled the thread the loose thread would pull out easily. It was also out of the correct tension on the last photo of your dress below the bustline. The thread could easily be pulled and the dress might fall apart. The stitching looks terrible on such a high priced dress.
