WPB + Holly Shae

I am so lucky to live minutes away from one of my favorite local boutiques and to know both the owners as well I as do. If I am in a pinch for any outing, adventure, or just wanting to shop I can pop literally down the street into Willow Park Boutique and check out the new arrivals. With spring weather coming, well and going, and a sunny evening in the forecast I was thrilled to stop in and shop.  I found such goodness while I was there, which you should absolutely check out on their website.  I was shopping with a specific event in mind so it was easy for me to keep my blinders on and check out the dresses + the table linens.

I settled on what may be my favorite Holly Shae dress to date, the Gigi.  This dress.  It has a gorgeous silhouette, is the most darling green color, and has flutter sleeves.  Yes, I said flutter sleeves.  It can be worn with the sash or without, but the sash is something I love as it is trimmed in the prettiest gold edge.  This dress, what can I say, you must get it while you still can.  It keeps selling out but Willow Park is doing presales and will ship to you the second it arrives.  Think Easter, spring and summer, even a wedding.  It is truly that stunning.

I mean, look at those sleeves.

We love to eat outside at our teak table on the deck and while the weather is warm and the pollen not crazy I decided to jump at the chance to set the table for us.  Since our table is long I sometimes have a bit of a struggle finding a rectangle cloth that is long enough.  That was not the case with this one from Saule Parc.  The mix of the pretty blue flowers and the touch of green on the white background is just ideal for spring.  I do not want to downplay any of the green that is happening outside right now and these linens ended up being the perfect choice.  I chose the tablecloth, placemats (will use later), and 8 napkins

I set the table with my new linens, some cabbage plates, and a few extra things we own. The true highlight here was the weather and being outside so the details on table. We started with little cheese boards (my people love cheese!), and then moved into orange chicken, brown rice + broccoli. I found the cutest little individual cheese boards at Target in the dollar spot and they are perfect for hosting. You need to snag them quickly, you know how the dollar spot works. 😉

Per usual I snagged flowers, cheese, and wine from Trader Joes and came home and easily put it all together.  Trader Joes is definitely a happy place for me. You can always find great pairings of cheese and all the accoutrements for any thing you would need.  It is my first stop for anything I need at all.  I put all my energy into the table and the excitement of being outside and served their easy to make Orange Chicken + brown rice. It is all about balance for me.

As I mentioned above, the Gigi keeps selling out so do not miss your opportunity to get one for yourself.  While you are shopping at Willow Park make sure you add these table linens to cart ... oh and for something special, check out their selection of stunning glassware

Happy Tuesday ... 💚
