Things Of Note ...

Happy Monday!  I hope your weekend was beautiful and filled with some good downtime.  I spent Saturday and Sunday relaxing and tackling some things on my to-do list that I had neglected for two weeks.  We are finished, I think, with graduation events, and now I am playing catch up with things I have had to put on the back burner. I did my laundry, ran some errands, started thinking about dorm décor, napped, watched Queen Charlotte, and gave myself some mental downtime.  I needed it and am starting the week feeling refreshed and ready for a great week.

I have a second Things Of Note blog post for you today, I am considering it a mental drop zone for all the things I have jotted down to share with you.  I found some really fun things to share, I hope you love them.

I ordered a Ruby Bond candy board for myself for Mother's Day and snacked on it all last week. Elizabeth's boards are so fun and stuffed with the best candy ever.  My favorite piece on the board was the strawberry licorice stuffed with cream.  I love them and when they were gone I was sad.  I researched where to find more and found myself on licorice.com.  How fun is this website?  I ordered the ones I was hunting and then also discovered they have a sister website, pretzels.com.  I think this one would be so fun for Father's Day.  What guy doesn't love a great pretzel?

My friends at Lady & Tucker just released their Memorial Day Edit and it is filled with fabulous things to start the summer.  I definitely crave wearing and using all the red, white, and blue for summer so I am loving this release. Last week I shared I bought two things from them.  I bought a dog bowl for the porch, which Y'all sold out, and this darling frame for one of our new graduation photos. I also have these which I love and think would make a great hostess gift for any invitation you get this summer.  Who doesn't love a great salt and pepper shaker, these are fabulous!

I shared that I bought this caftan while at Dillard's a few weeks ago.  I have now worn it three times since I bought it.  It is perfect for around the house, running errands, and with sneaks for a casual dinner. It is a great price, $68, and also comes in a red stripe which I think would be perfect for summer and over a bathing suit.  Snag it while you still can.  And, I love this chambray one if you need another option or do not like stripes. All are fully stocked in all sizes!

I have now purchased about six of these laundry bags as grad gifts.  They are huge and the backpack straps are perfect for carrying your dirty clothes to the laundry room.  For my girl, I just bought the bag but for other gifts, I paired it with a single bath towel and two hand towels. I recommend monogramming them to make sure they can find "their" towels if they have a common washing machine. The laundry bag is a must-have for recent high school grads!

I love wearing flag sweaters, especially in the summer!!  Willow Park just released both a navy and a white one and I need to get these asap this week.  I just can't decide which one I want, the navy or the white one

If you love a great travel bag, I have found two I think you will love.  I bought a number of these for grad gifts and they are really great quality.  I like that they are flat and easy to see what is inside, and the girls loved them.  It comes in pink and black, and I will order these again and again for gifts. I recommend the larger one!

Did you know that Mackenzie Childs released a royal blue collection?  I have always loved her pieces but the black and white wasn't me.  But this blue, oh yes!!!  I have my eye on the teapot but there are so many great pieces in the collection.  I have linked them all for you below!
