I am excited today to share the last gift guide for Christmas today as the holiday break begins for our kids.  The youngest gets out today at lunch and the oldest has already been done for more than a week.  That means that Christmas is just 10 days away and if you are like me you struggle some with gift ideas for those closest to you. Just when I think I have it all managed then I realize I still have stockings and the stress for fun items begins once again.  This year I tackled the stocking stuffing yesterday so this is completely off my list ... and I am thrilled.  I sat down and came up with some fun ideas for each of the stockings hanging on my mantle and I am excited to share some great ideas with you.

Travel Shopping Por Moi

Happy Wednesday!!  I came home from Charleston late Sunday night after having a magical three days.  We ate, we shopped, we sipped and we soaked up all things Garden and Gun.  I can't wait to share all the details with you, it was the most fun event.  Garden and Gun rolls out the red carpet and I am completely in awe.  I am already making plans to attend next year.  Oh, and I will not be missing any single moment of the weekend.

My Favorite Holidays Picks

Did anyone else shop til they collapsed on Cyber Monday?  The deals were so good that I ended up doing most of my shopping and scoring a few things for me as well.  I mean, when in Rome, right?  Now that the cyber dust is settling I have pulled together a list of my favorite things I bought and where to find them just in case you also need some ideas for the people in your life.  This year I started with the hardest person in my circle to buy for ... and when I had that person covered it was easy to knock out the rest.  I have some fun ideas for you and while I can't tell you what exactly I bought (peering eyes from the Hubs + kids) I can tell you all the stuff that caught my eye.  I found some amazing ideas that I am super excited to share with you today.  😍

Cyber Monday Deals ...

I hope your Thanksgiving was amazing, I know ours was fabulous and per usual I ate my body weight in turkey, stuffing and sweet potatoes.  It happens, and I will be wearing leggings all week.  The only thing that would get me out of bed before the alarm on a Monday morning would be Cyber Monday sales and this year I was up before six shopping like crazy.  There are some incredible deals and sales happening today!!  I have linked all of them along with my favorites from each shop, which I also did for Black Friday, and they are still amazing picks!

White Jeans Every Day

As the weather starts to change and the mornings are crisp and clear with leaves falling to the ground most would think that the white jeans have been put away along side the Lilly Pulitzer shorts.  One would be very wrong in my case.  I am a girl who thinks white jeans don't have a season and, in fact, when traveling in fall and winter for work have to ask friends what their view is on white jeans year round. If they don't make the cut they immediately go  back in rotation the minute I return home.

It is just beginning to cool off here in Atlanta and I am truly loving the chilly mornings with the clear blue skies.  It isn't so cold that I can't wear my favorite pieces, but it will be here before I know it so I have prepared myself for those mornings.  I love so many things that are on trend at the moment, a lot of them are speaking to my old school prep self.  If I know I can keep it for a while and wear it year after year I grab it up.  This year has me wearing my fun jeans and mules on repeat, but there is so much more to come!

Tretorn Nylite Is 50!

I have been wearing Tretorns since I was in college and one of my roommates moved in wearing a pair.  I was instantly in love with the darling shoe and how much she raved about how comfortable they were.  Debbie Denman (cutest girl ever) wore them all the time and the more worn they got, the more she loved them.  I felt the exact same way with my first pair, a pair that I wore until they truly were hardly even there. They were white with navy details and I immediately fell in love with them and have been wearing the iconic shoe ever since.  My current pair in rotation is a pink on pink pair and I get so many compliments on them every single time I wear them.  Pink + Tretorns ... #yesplease.

Remember this post when I was doing some fall shopping?  Well, it all arrived and I picked out my favorites and they are showing up in rotation already.  With a busy fall schedule I put some pieces together so I would be ready when I needed them.  Pairing outfits together is something I love to do and an easy thing to make sure you are prepared for the last minute decision to do something fun that requires more than my homebody outfit of leggings and a comfy tee.

As I was calendaring things for late September and October I was a little shocked at how many things I have booked.  Between events and photo shoots and a video appearance I may have taken on a little much for this girl. It is high time I start deciding what to wear for each so at least that part is off my plate. Oh, and any volunteers to go along with me? 😳

Last Friday evening Lawyer and I had dinner with two friends he met in law school.  It was a fun change from our normal stay at home date night so I was super excited to wear my new favorite shirt. I spotted the top while grabbing some fun pieces for some fall events and this top and I fell in love with this top at first touch.  Super soft and fabulously thick it wears well, hangs well and is so comfortable.  I might need to live in Supima cotton every day all day. I snagged it up quickly and immediately talked a girl at the register into getting one as well.

It's the end of the year and tons of middle school and high school happenings and I found myself needing quite a few cute dresses.  For some reason my closet was lacking in cute options so I hit a few of my favorite stores to snag some cute dresses for all of the end of the school year events.

Happy Hour Nibbles ...

As you know one of my favorite things to host is happy hour.  It can be a quiet evening for myself and Lawyer or it can be a gathering of besties, I love to host my loved ones with food and drinks. I have perfected my choices for a smaller group of people vs a large group which requires a whole lot more thought.  Who doesn't love an intimate gathering?  It makes for a wonderful time of catching up and quality time.

Blue & White Table Bliss ...

Have you seen Aerin Lauder's new table collection for Williams Sonoma?  It has been the talk of the internet but truly I wasn't surprised one bit when I spotted it, it was love at first site.  Classic blue and white paired with amazing woven pieces and incredible blue glass.

Mother's Day with Waiting on Martha

Happy Monday!  It is rainy and cold here so I am drinking coffee on repeat and working on my master to do list. I have already added fresh flowers to the house to add some color on this grey day. Since I am in the thick of another One Room Challenge I am sourcing fun art and happies for this bathroom and bedroom refresh like it is my full time job.  I have found some darling things and even picked out a few from my darling friend Mandy's online boutique.  I love shopping from friends, it is like having a tiny piece of them in our home.

While I was shopping at Waiting on Martha I found so many fabulous things I need to share.  Since Mother's Day is literally around the corner I figured you needed some gift ideas just like I did for my sweet little peeps.  I don't know about your people but mine ask for a list.  It makes it so much easier for all parties involved and then they get creative with their homemade cards and plans for the day.  I call that a win, win for all!

Gingham Heaven

As you well know I love gingham!  Something about those tiny little checks that makes my heart skip a beat.  I think I have shared that my love for gingham started very young.  My grandmother had yellow gingham wallpaper in her kitchen and the sight of it always made me happy. To this day any sight of gingham makes me so very happy.  I love wearing anything gingham and I love to mix it with so many other patterns all spring and summer long for darling outfits.  I am ready for warm weather, alfresco dining and fun outings.
