It's that time ... six weeks of work, decisions, more decisions, changes and fretting and I could not be more excited to share our completed laundry room with you today!
Without any more idle chit chat ~
Our new laundry room ...
We are thrilled with our new laundry and mud room areas ... so functional and so pretty. Who wouldn't want to do laundry here?
I am so happy that the cabinets were moved to allow for a second open storage shelf ... I have already fallen in love with having all my laundry supplies at my hands. If I don't have to dig for it I have found I use everything more often. And those fancy laundry products from Caldrea and Mrs. Meyers make even laundry duty fancy.
Two open shelves and an organized laundry tower ... #yesplease.
An orchid and a lamp with a monogrammed shade ... #ofcourse!
Thank you Emily ... the custom art you gifted me is beyond lovely. I am thrilled to have a little piece of you with me each day! xo
These pulls from D Lawless were a perfect find ... and such a great price. And D Lawless ships the same day so they arrived with 48 hours.
Thank you again for all the advice on the monogrammed window treatment ... I absolutely LOVE the results! And of course, nothing for me in complete without a monogram!
I am thrilled with these Target clearance baskets and how well they fit the Ikea bookcase turned bench. I may have spent two days scouring every Target in my area, but I think my efforts paid off.
And the white touch at the top, sold me in an instant!
This the view I have when I enter from the garage ... and I couldn't be more pleased with the results!
Function and fabulous ... absolutely!!
The bench is my favorite add in to the space. I can sit and pull off my Hunters or make notes for my errands ... and of course, monogrammed Chinoiserie notepads are at the top of my to do list wants!
Thank you Skips for the gift!!
And our precious pup absolutely loves his new dog bowl. Every pup I know deserves a monogrammed bowl from Indigo Home!!
This corner may be my favorite ... the Chez V sketch is so dear to me and the organized laundry tower just speaks to my type A heart!
And no One Room Challenge space is complete without Jennifer's art! I just have to have The Pink Pagoda in each room of my home one day! And I call that a perfect goal.
These facing cheetahs are amazing!
I am so pleased to be able to include Emily McCarthy's new fabrics for Cotton + Quill in our new space. I adore Emily and to have her creations fill my home warms my heart. She is not only an incredibly talented lifestyle designer, but also a dear friend.
And that precious Mary Catherine of Cotton + Quill ... you can read more about her in this post!
Aren't those flamingos to fun for words? She designed the pattern for her daughter's nursery and as soon as I realized the patterns were a fit I was thrilled to order the Lillian fabric for the pillow on the bench. Miss Lillian Joy McCarthy will be making her debut in just a few short weeks!
To start at the beginning with Week 1 click here ... or you can start with week 4 and work your way in reverse! Either way you will notice a huge change from the original space ...
Thank you for following along with me during another six week ride and thank you Linda for opening up this challenge to linking partners just a few years ago. You have challenged me to create some amazing spaces in my home that I absolutely love spending time in. Six weeks ago I would have sworn I would never enjoy spending time in a laundry room ... and now, I may have to sit and have a cocktail on that amazing bench!
And thanks to Linda and her incredible challenge I have four rooms now I can call ORC completed rooms!
The Laundry Room
What will I chose next? Maybe the kitchen, but probably the powder room. Who knows ...
I would not be able to post these reveals without my precious photographer and bestie Amanda. She pops over with treats in hand and makes my rooms look like a magazine. I adore you Skips ... your talents never cease to amaze me!!!
You must read each and every one of the Wednesday group and my fellow linking partners. Both groups contain some amazing people who have taken on a huge challenge and have incredible rooms to show for it. I will be doing the same over the next few weeks ... I love taking my time and enjoying each one! My family will find me in front of my computer with coffee perusing and pinning for days! xo
Now ... I am off to tackle some serious laundry!
