TPC Travels ... #newyork

I had such an incredible time in New York City last week.  It was quick but it was jam packed with incredible adventures.  My main goal while in the city was to walk the New York Now show and to spend some quality time with my dear friend Natalie.  I happily achieved both and added many more items to my wish list for my time in the big apple.

One of my favorite things about the city is the incredible food.  I do not think I have ever had a bad meal in New York and each location is more charming than the next.  You can follow along with my adventure on Instagram using the hashtag #tpctravels.  The first evening we ate at Bergdorfs and the meal was both amazing and charming.  I just love every single thing about Bergdorf Goodmans and this visit was just as magical as all of my others.  We popped out of the car just to see them unveiling the windows.  I almost died.

I highly recommend the Lobster salad with a Champagne cocktail and finishing off with The BG. Absolutely divine.

Wednesday I ate breakfast in the hotel room to prepare for work calls.  Latte Macchiato from Starbucks and a quick banana and almond butter.  Nothing special but yet it was the perfect start to my day.  Lunch was another quick on the run meal on the way to help with the Lifeguard Press sample sale.  It gets quite crazy during the sale and all hands are definitely on deck.  After an incredible visit and champagne cocktails with Katie at the Carlyle Hotel, Natalie and I met up for a late dinner and desserts galore. Every single bite was incredible!

It rained all day on Wednesday and even rain doesn't stop the magic of the city for me.  I simply love New York!

Thursday was a day just to shop and eat and we didn't miss out on either.  We definitely appeared to be "ladies who lunch".  After meeting up with the darling Kari Joy at her incredible apartment we headed to Ralph's Coffee for coffee and pastries.  The setting is absolutely darling and I recommend checking it out on your next trip.

We left Ralph's for a spin through Henri Bendel which was nothing like a spin at all.  Once I discovered they monogram on the spot I vowed never to leave.  More on that in a moment!  From Henri Bendel we headed to Kate Spade for an incredible shopping experience.  The Madison Avenue store is like none other and their customer service is unbeatable.  I just love those amazing ladies.  After shopping we were starving and the girls recommended we eat at Match.  I love local recommendations, they know where to go and definitely where to eat!  I had the kale salad, crab cake and of course, a glass of champs!

After an amazing meal and tons of girl talk we parted ways with the darling Kari Joy and Natalie and I headed to the Strand to check out the book collection.  I managed to bring home 7 new books and each one seemed absolutely perfect for me.  From there we headed to the airport and my time in the city came to a close.  It was a quick but incredible trip, as all should be I assume.

Let's chat about the incredible Henri Bendel.  Did you know they monogram, because I promise you I did not.  My life seems forever changed after spotting the monogram machine in the window and Jojo working quickly to finish each customer's request.

I am absolutely in love with my new items.  I chose black for each of them to showcase the incredible gold monograms.  Each piece only cost me $5 to have it monogrammed and he did it on the spot. And, each piece was treated to a darling striped dust cover for free.  I am over the moon excited.  Of course the jewelry case will be saved for travel but the sunglasses case and pill case are already in use in my bag.  My vitamins never looked better!

Until next time New York City ... you were amazing and I am already planning ahead for May!
