Five Must Haves For Fall

It is just beginning to cool off here in Atlanta and I am truly loving the chilly mornings with the clear blue skies.  It isn't so cold that I can't wear my favorite pieces, but it will be here before I know it so I have prepared myself for those mornings.  I love so many things that are on trend at the moment, a lot of them are speaking to my old school prep self.  If I know I can keep it for a while and wear it year after year I grab it up.  This year has me wearing my fun jeans and mules on repeat, but there is so much more to come!

Jeans ... 

As I chatted about in this post, I am all over the shorter length jeans.  They are so fun to pair with booties (need to find a cute pair) and mules.  Add a heel for later more dressy events and those work too.  For The Mine party in High Point I paired these jeans with these heels.  I loved it and it was so fun to wear.  I have gathered my favorite jeans and a few on my radar for you today.  I have said it before and I will say it again, I don't spend a ton of money on jeans, but prefer to save it for accessories.  😉

Jackets ... 

I will be honest.  I don't love wearing a jacket.  As a child my mother always said I would sacrifice warmth for fashion and she was correct.  I have never found a jacket that made me feel like it was for fashion over warmth.  Until now, this season I am all over a cute jacket and all it can add to my outfit.  I have five of them on my radar and one already on the way to me.  My mother would be proud!

Mules ... 

Oh, mules.  It is like someone made them just for me.  I love them so much!  They are not only comfortable but so fun to wear.  Such a fun little statement piece for your foot.  Add in a bow or some fun and it just gets better and better.  Don't you agree?

Ankle Boots ... 

How fun are these?  And with the shorter jean ... perfection!!  I have one pair of leopard I love from a few years back so I am trying not to purchase another leopard pair, but we shall see.  I love how cute they are with a dress as well.  I almost wore a pair with my fun dress from Saturday but the weather was still warm so I chose a sandal.  I would love to find a pair with a fun bow, so let me know if you spot any!!  I found the darling green ones below (the Paige boot) but I need something for everyday.  Don't think for a second I didn't get them though!

Statement Tops ... 

Who doesn't love a top every single person comments on?  Paired with jeans and a darling ankle boot and you have my new uniform!  I have snagged so many great tops lately and I am thrilled to be able to wear each one.  It is almost like Christmas morning in my closet as I get excited to choose which one I want to wear!  Black, white, stripes, solids and big ruffles for days!!

With the high today only 65 I will be in the house with the windows open soaking up all the cool crisp air and fall smells while I finish painting in our foyer.  Stay tuned for a color filled reveal and definitely follow along on Instastories.
