Woven Bag Goodness

Anyone else think a straw or woven bag automatically makes any outfit feel like spring and summer?  I love a straw bag and have for so many years.  I think I started carrying one during college when I would head to the beach.  From my dorm room at UCF it would only take me 60 minutes to get to the beach and we went quite often.  I had a large straw bag which I would fill with my towel, my sunglasses and I am sure some unsafe tanning oil.  From that time straw and woven bags immediately make me think of warm weather and relaxing days. 🌞

Since the weather is quite warm in Atlanta at the moment I immediately grabbed my straw bag for our day yesterday.  I pulled a scarf, added a pair of my favorite sandals and we were off to our last Haiti meeting before the trip next month.

When it comes to the really warm days I have one of two "uniforms" I gravitate to ... either an above the knee dress or colorful shorts and a fun shirt. It's the outfits of summer on repeat! This dress is definitely been getting a lot of wear recently ... it is the perfect length, it's so comfortable and darling beyond words, am I right?  Adding in a woven bag is just the best way to finish off both of my looks.
