Yesterday marked the beginning of the Serena & Lily brand wide Spring Design Event and I immediately popped over to check it out. As I mentioned Monday I have a list of projects that I am working on and what better time to check out a 20% off sale? With all sorts of projects on the list from the very small "hang plate above painting" to "start over in basement" it seemed the ideal time to be checking the sale. I have really found a love for all things Serena & Lily with all of the pieces we have purchased and acquired. From the first piece ... this one ... I was completely smitten.
There are so many amazing things currently in stock at S&L and I can't say enough good things about them. With the longer sunny days and the upcoming spring months this is the perfect time to start thinking about your outdoor spaces. We have a great eating area on the back deck and I absolutely love the chairs but the farm table my father in law made over 40 years ago is beginning to show its age and exhaustion. The porch is basically perfect in my opinion but it can always use a little refresh of pillows and a throw or two as we keep them out all the time and after a few years they show their lack of fabulous. Oh, and who doesn't love a new set of sheets for spring to celebrate the end of spring cleaning?
And, as I keep mentioning, I have a long list of projects to tackle. 😬🖉
I started some fluffing and refreshing this year and the first thing I changed up were the pillows on the den sofa + I added in some cute throws. It is the time of year where it can be chilly so I try to keep pretty blankets near for snuggling. I am loving all these pretty pillows below ... those blues are soo fabulous. I just ordered two of these for our son's room/extra guest room. I love the stripe and those tassels make me really happy. Our current sofa situation (photos coming in two weeks) has two of these in the larger size + this blanket and I love it so.
