All The Books

I joined my first book club in January of last year and it was truly one of the best decisions I made.  I had always wanted to join a book club and the offer had never presented itself.  My friend Ashley Brooke started a virtual monthly book club and I immediately joined.  I would read a book a month and the first few months I would literally finish it right before the "deadline".  I loved reading again since I was such an avid reader as a child and always on vacations but felt like reading everyday was a luxury I didn't have time for.  I was so very wrong, and I loved that I was reading again and using it to relax at the end of the day. I was hooked to reading once again.

Ashley's book recommendations are so good.  They are light, uplifting, and so easy to add to your schedule.  You can find the books she suggests on her blog, her bookstagram, and her regular feed.  The bookstagram is so darling to follow and each month she shows her pick of the month with the new book tied with a bow.  Ashley and I have very similar taste and every single book she has recommended I have truly adored.  My favorites are always the royal picks ... American Royals and The Royal We were my two most favorites of her choices.  I just noticed there is a sequel to The Royal We and ordered it immediately. American Royals has a sequel coming out soon and I am dying for it to arrive! 💗👑

(notice the broken wheel of my yellow Jeep, I dropped it! 😔)

Now that I have started needlepointing I know listen to most of the book club books on audio, which I also love. I find it so fun to drive around and run errands and get in 30 minutes or so of listening and most definitely while cooking, doing household chores, and getting ready.  Before you know it you can finish a book in a few days.

If you are looking for some amazing reads, check out Ashley Brooke's picks.  I can not recommend them enough.  💗
