the pink clutch ...: Stripes + Gingham ... + A Sale

Happy Monday ... anyone else excited about a brand new week? Last week was a dooooozie for me and I was so ready to flip the calendar to a new week and begin again! I am starting off today in a super cute outfit (if I do say so) and a great sale for you. I call that a double win ... and if you count the fact that I was also wearing makeup I would say it's basically early 2020 once again. 😂

As you know I am a huge fan of classics in clothing as the prep in me just feels more comfortable that way. A pair of pants that reminds me of Audrey Hepburn's classic skinnies, yes please. A gingham paired with a stripe, sign me up. Anything navy, oh absolutely. Pair all of that with a great bag and I think you have the perfect outfit that you can wear together or split up for outfits time and time again.

I scored all of these pieces from the J.McLaughlin sale happening right now. I have the items you see above (thank you to them) plus this darling wrap and the cutest scarf slides to pair with jeans. I love that all of my items are perfect for now, but also are great transition pieces for the upcoming cooler weather. In the south we do not get cold until at least November so I love a great pant and sweater combination way into late October. I think both this sweater + this wrap will be darling paired with white jeans and white sneaks as well, and this bag is truly one of the best I own. The inside is made to be wiped down so I do not need to worry about anything ruining it, and it made it perfect for taking wine + roses to a friend.

Anyone who knows me well will tell you that these pants are truly perfect in my opinion. Between the side zip, ankle slits, and navy gingham ... there is no way I was not choosing these. I also adore this sweater as it is the perfect summer weight and can later be paired with a wrap or jacket for easy layering. The stripes are so subtle and I really love the tan added in to the navy. It is just so very cute!
