I have been in love with Schumacher's Citrus Garden pattern since the moment it was released. I think it is just the most perfect wallpaper, and reminds me so very much of my childhood in Florida. As a child my grandfather would drive through citrus groves to inspect fruit as part of his business. We played in the groves, we listened to music in high school at grove parties (probably a bad idea) and since they were literally everywhere in central Florida a citrus grove is one of my favorite sights. I have no idea where I will use this pattern or where it will go, but mark my words ... I will absolutely have a space in my home with something using Citrus Garden.

Citrus Garden is not a new pattern at all, but instead is a re-release of an archival Josef Frank print, created in 1947. According to Schumacher, it "bears the signature whimsy, color and personality for which the designer is known". They describe it as charming and whimsical and I could not agree more. When the pattern was first released it came in two color ways, primary and pool. I noticed while researching for this post it now comes in a third color way, lime, which honestly I may love more than the original two. With the greens and yellows and touches of blue it may be a great addition to the pattern mixing I am doing in our primary room. The addition of pink in the new color way makes it even more perfect for my citrus and color loving self, I just can't get over how much I adore this pattern. I have ordered a sample to see it better and to decide how and where to use it.Citrus Garden in lime
The first time I ever spotted the pattern was in Gen Sohr's home in a bathroom she had recently completed. I loved the colors, the pattern mixing she created and for the time since I have had a love affair with the pattern. If I did not have the wallpaper we do in our powder room this would be an instant choice for me. Well, I could always change it. #myhusbandwouldkillme
I told you, Gen's bathroom is stunning!
Some other incredible design inspiration for you ... all using some colorway of my favorite pattern. I am telling you, it is only a matter of time before I cave and use it. The only decision being ... where?
I think it is just the happiest of prints ... in all three color ways. 💛

That is so pretty. I love yellow and want more yellow accents in my home. I like to use primary colors and hot pink!
