Oh, Hello ...

I hope your Monday is filled with sun pouring into your house and you so enjoyed the extra hour of sleep yesterday.  I was absolutely exhausted after my trip to Dallas, but in the best way.  After being sick all last week before we left I was a bit tired before we left and I used yesterday to just completely rest.  It's cold and flu season, make sure you take extra care of yourself ... that is my PSA.  I had a cold that worked its way into fluid in my ears so with an antibiotic I feel so much better.  I felt so silly at the doctor on Thursday asking why I was still not feeling well after taking a Covid test four days before.  I recall thinking I shouldn't be sick ... I completely forgot about colds and normal viruses after focusing on the more serious ones the last two years.  She giggled and said, well you could just get a cold.  #sillyme

I am jumping into this week with both feet and a to do list that should be illegal in length.  I started making one on my phone and the length of it was stressful so I moved to a true pad and pen.  Wow-za, if only my cute Anna Grace were home for the week.  That girl loves a to do list. At the top of the list is lots of shipping, fall tables, Thanksgiving prep, shipping, November content, shop organization of holiday merchandise, and all the coffee. Oh, and did I mention shipping?  The shop is buzzing and I am so very thankful!

Ps ... go ahead and slide over another cup please + thank you.

I have some fun things to share, so I will bullet point them.  I got some questions about my clothes this weekend, and I did snag a few things before I left, which I wore and loved.  So, here. you. go!

First of all, I snagged my first pair of gold hoops.  I have a pair of tortoise ones I love but have never purchased a gold pair.  I have been wanting a pair my friend Avoly sells for a bit, but they sell out so fast.  Anyone else have "drop fatique"?  I feel like this is a whole new post.  Anyway, I bought this set and wore the larger ones.  They are light, I forgot I was wearing them until I would adjust my mask, and they are super flattering.  Highly recommend.  The fun part about the set is you can wear both, wear one and gift one, or split with a friend. I also wore this pair while in Dallas, they are also very comfortable and I adore all the pearls.

These shoes arrived and I wore them Saturday. Very comfortable, very cute, plaid ... and velvet bows.  No other information needed.  I paired them with the black shirt from Friday's blog, these jeans, this headband, and a leopard blazer for the chill in the air.

Along with the shoes this sweater arrived just before I left.  It is darling ... and the bow is so fun. I wore it Friday night for drinks on the rooftop of Restoration Hardware. I will pair

As a last minute errand I stopped by Willow Park for a cute jacket ... and found both this darling jacket and a super soft and flattering sweater.  The sweater comes in camel, black, and ivory.  I have the camel (now sold out) and also would love the black.  It is cropped, so very fun for high waisted jeans.  I wore it over my Nap Dress and it was so cute! The ivory would be darling paired with plaid!

We stopped into the Lele Sadoughi shop in Highland Park Village and I bought two headbands.  It was so fun to try them all on and the staff was adorable.  I bought this one + this one and I have my eye on this one for holiday.  I tried it on and loved it.  It is so extra and would elevate any outfit to something fancy. They had few of both the ones I bought so if they have caught your eye I would suggest calling the shop. The pink one is so very me.

We also stopped into and designed a few gifts at Barrington Gifts.  I love Barrington, as you know, and designing in store was such a great experience.  I bought a sunglasses case (a gift) and two Katie pouches, one of which is also a gift.  The bag is the perfect way to carry a needlepoint project, which is the intended use for me.  My friend Nicole designed this bag for herself and I really love the style.  She will love it.  If you want a bag order it while the 12 days of Christmas 15% off + free shipping is happening!

I came home to a fun package from Kip and Duffy.  They gifted me this darling house flag after I purchased the Halloween one I loved.  I think a flag was a darling addition to our outside Halloween decorations and I will definitely be adding a flag again for Christmas.  Look at those pups.  They also sent a few sheets of pup stickers which are also just darling.

And the last thing, I hope your week is fabulous.

Ps... I just pulled up all the items on the Plaid Palooza post to find out what was on sale ... and found some of the items are 40% off if you are a member, which you need to be.  It is free and you get points for every dollar you spend.  It adds up and you get a surprise $5 to $20 off before you know it.  Here are the items I found on sale ... and a few more I either own or should!
