12 Happies du Jour

Fall has been so pretty this year in Georgia.  The trees were really showing all of their stunning colors.  We had a really cold few days last week and I am hoping it has not put an end to the rest of our fall colors.  Some of the trees in the neighborhood are now just dropping their leaves in bulk ... but others are holding on.  We shall see.  I really do love a full fall with weeks of amazing temperatures and gorgeous leaf viewing. 

There are so many great things that have come across my path and I have been bookmarking them to be able to share in this post, and I am here to tell you there are some really great things!  Hopefully this post will feel like you got an amazing magazine where every single page is better than the last one.  So much goodness I am excited to share ... I think you will be over the moon!

I have been using my Beautycounter Countertime Regimen religiously.  I ordered it in September and it came, I opened it and have been using it twice a day since.  I am trying to get back into a routine of good sleep + more water and it is definitely showing in my skin, but I have a ways to go.  I really love knowing I am using such a great routine on my face.  My nightly routine consists of the cleansing oil + hydating essence + resurfacing peel + lastly the supreme cream.  I can most definitely see a difference in my skin!  

I think this watch is truly so pretty ... and its a bangle so that is even better, don't you think?

I bought these boots last year and really loved them.  They are back this year and I would definitely tell you they sell out pretty quickly if you are looking for a great leopard boot.  They are currently on sale which makes them $148 right now, such a great price. 

Have you been watching the Hallmark Channel?  We have been watching Christmas movies since they debuted about a week ago and I do not see it slowing down anytime before the holiday season is officially kicked off.  I think watching Christmas movies is just about the best way to be in a great mood, anyone else?  My friend Kathy (Mary Kay Andrews) wrote the story for this Saturday's movie Merry & Bright and I thought it was really, really good.  If I had to rate it I would give it a solid 9/10 so if you missed it and are up for a sweet and romantic holiday movie definitely add this one to your queue to watch!

Speaking of shows ... is anyone watching The Politician?  I loved this article talking about all the amazing sets and the nods to Sister Parish and Albert Hadley.  I need to start watching it ASAP.

Oh, and lastly, I am dying to dive into this podcast.  I love all things royal related and since I was just a small child when she was married I have always been fascinated with Diana.  I am hoping it is good, anyone else listening?

A classic white button down is one of my favorite things to wear.  It is classic, never goes out of style and can be worn so many different ways!  Here is a great article to give you some tips ... and I have rounded up some great white button downs for you below.  Oh, and the best part ... all of these shirts are on sale!

I bought a few sweaters last week ... it got really cold fast and I needed a few new ones. Lawyer had an hour at PT and I popped into one of my go to shops. I was not at all prepared for a 40 degree drop in a matter of two hours. #yikes I have a habit of wearing sweaters out after a few seasons and I had a few that needed to be replaced.  I found this sweater which I have now worn twice since I bought it.  I also snagged the pink one and I really think I need to replace a navy one as well. They were 40% off which made them $47 each.  Great sweater at a really good price. 

I shared a tip yesterday to make a really quick wreath which will always look amazing.  I use the tip over and over when making the wreath for my front door every single season.  I saved it to my highlights just in case you missed it, so check it out here. 

For some reason our WIFI at home has been running slower than I want it to.  My dad noticed it first and then I noticed it and it was just down right slooooooow. My parents bought this Google WIFI system and recommended it and I can tell you it is sooo good.  We got it, set it up (so easy) and my WIFI connection went from weak to strong.  

As you may have noticed on Instagram I am cooking more as the Hubs continues to recover.  I have found I get the meal prepped so much smoother and without stress if I do it in the morning while no one is around asking nine thousand questions or after a full day.  This is the dinner I made last Thursday and it is one I know I can make well and it is most definitely a crowd pleaser.  I use all turkey for my patty, as I do not eat red meat.  If you like Salisbury Steak .. this recipe is truly so yummy.  Serve it with roasted potatoes and a green veggie.  

I am checking into an Instant Pot ... I found a bunch of recipes that sound delish.  I am assuming it is a lot like the pressure cooker my grandparents used to use?  I think it sounds like an amazing appliance, I need to do more research for sure!!
