Front Door With Frontgate

I love our home this Christmas, I think I may have mentioned that once or twice. I think part of it is the new eyes I have and part of it is the magical nutcracker feel of this year's decorations.  Every single time I walk around the house I just feel so much joy and magic around me.  And that starts with the outside of the house which I love more than I ever have loved before.  This is our second year partnering with Frontgate for our home, and the outside is the best it has ever been.

It is like really, really pretty. 🎄🤶

In my opinion, and yes, I am biased ... Frontgate has the best options for lit trees and garland for the price.  We have the flocked tree in the dining room, a flocked wreath in the dining room, a large pre-lit wreath on the front door, two strands of garland ... and a partridge in a pear tree.  I am kidding about that partridge but you get my thought.  We are slowly but surely transitioning to all Frontgate in our home and I could not be happier.  I love every single thing we own, love the way it works and love how it looks.

When I was decorating the front door the brass lanterns were a last minute decision, but they may be the thing that makes it all magical for me.  I love how they seem like they just belong here.  The wreath and the garland is so close to real and the candles and lanterns just add to the feel.  I am having some girls over tomorrow evening for wine and cheese and I am really excited to light the candles.

My very talented floral friend Claudia came over and added all the lovely greenery, pomanders, and pine cones to the lanterns to match the incredible work she did on our mailbox.  The mailbox is truly incredible.  She decorated it as a gift to us and I think it may be the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. The orange + my pink bows just make it feel so magical.

Isn't it fantastic?

Each year I plan the front door with the team at Frontgate and this year we chose the Majestic wreath + garland.  Both are currently sold out and I would definitely say that you need to act fast when it comes to the decor.  I have found that a lot sells quickly and I was very lucky to still be able to get these items.  Those who know how amazing the holiday decor is pounce quickly. And now you are in the know ... so if you see it still on the site you need to act quickly.

The lanterns are not considered holiday decor so those are easier to snag.  I chose the Quincy Lantern in the smaller size.  Mine are specifically the gold finish and are 29 inches tall.  And let me tell you ... they are fabulous both in size, details and look. I truly love them!

I used two of the garland pieces and tied them together at the top with a big pink bow and two simple candle canes I found at Dollar Tree.  I knew I wanted candy canes and finding them was way harder than I thought it would be.  I wired them together at the top and then added the bow on top and so far they have not moved or shifted one bit.

For the lanterns I also used pink ribbon and then Claudia created her magic inside.  She seems to travel around with cuttings and trimmings in her car this time of year.  It is a lot like Mrs. Claus car and I could not love it more.  The candles are sitting on an oasis so the greenery is getting water.

I can't say it enough, I just love it so much!

Thank you so much for your popping over ... I wish it was in real life but this virtual tour will have to do.  As you can see I am sporting all the plaid all the time and loving every single second of it.  Tis the season to wear all the plaids, right?

Have the best Wednesday ...
