Chic Face Masks

Wearing a face mask is now a common practice for my family.  We have a box of them in the car at all times with two bags, clean + dirty, I have two in my purse at all times, we have a basket of them in the house, and the kids each have two on hand for them to grab.  As this virus climbs once again going out in public with other people near it is just a fact for us ... we wear our masks.

I understand for some this is an issue and we all have the right to our own opinions and feelings.  I do, however, struggle greatly with others decisions to un-mask for the sake of others.  If I was against wearing one for whatever reason I would still wear one to protect others.  I do not feel any decision I make should put anyone else in danger, so I will always wear a mask in stores, public places, markets, and any other place I encounter any number of people.  Please note I said if ... don't be confused I am one hundred percent team #wearadamnmask. I wear it to the post office to ship packages, to the doctors office, to gather essentials, to Chick-fil-A, to Starbucks, to estate sales (required) and most definitely when people come to the door that don't drop things and leave.  It is a no brainer for me.

But ... we can choose chic face masks.  I have a combination of both.  I have a large number of white cotton ones I bought from Amazon and I also have more that I bought that are cute and fun to wear.  I need to wear it so why not make it fashion?  The kids both have start dates for school and masks are required.  I intend to let them choose what kind they wish to wear ... anything to make it more comfortable for them to wear them.  You want solid black ... done ~ you want a gingham with a monogram ... in the cart ~ you want the simple white ones ... you got it.

I just want them and others to feel and be safe.

I gathered up such cute masks for you.  The options are endless.  The monogram ones above are from Preppy Stitch and Gabrielle makes amazing things.  I found some funky patterns, some classic options, some gingham, and some simple ones.  For me the cuter ones are just more fun to wear ... am I right??

Since my children will be seeing their teachers and the staff I plan to gift masks to their team.  I am sure all can use all the masks they can get and I am so thankful for the sacrifices our teachers and schools are making to make them as safe as they can be while they are in person learning environments.  I know my children have craved the classroom learning so very much.  This is the last semester for our middle child and he is most definitely excited to be able to be with his favorite teachers and drama team.

Here you go ... cute masks for all!

  1. Thank you for this post. I feel it is the most important post followers of your blog should read. We wear masks to protect other people; it is a human responsibility to do so. None of us have a right to endanger another. I applaud you for not ignoring the issue. I've actually started watching the blogs I follow for someone to step up to the plate. Sadly what I do see is protecting whatever income stream they receive for selling on their blogs. Again, thank you.
