I am not going to lie, content wise I have been in a rut for about three weeks. That was the time I began working on a big project that I can not disclose for quite a while. I struggle when this happens because I pretty much share what I am working on professionally in real time, so when I can't I become lost for what to write. The good thing is that the project is now finished and I am literally days away from attending The Southern C ... so good content and inspiration will be aplenty very, very soon. I apologize for being so spotty the last few weeks, I was slammed and being secretive is hard for me, but that is behind me and forward we shall go.
This week will be such a great one. Attending The Southern C every year is my favorite place to find so much inspiration, partner with some amazing people, and create a content list for months. So hold on to your hats, it will be good stuff coming on repeat. 😉
I have a few things to share this morning, all things I am really in to right now and loving for this new year.
Wordle. Are you playing, are you addicted? I have been waking up at 6 each morning for a big cup of coffee, some quiet time, and my daily game of Wordle. I love it, you play once per day and it resets each day at midnight. This is a game I can commit to ... plus it pushes me to start thinking right off the bat. If you don't play check it out. This jacket. I love finding a great short jacket to wear so many ways. I found this one yesterday in a store window and was blown away by the pattern and the fit. The quality is incredible and feels very much "Chanel" when clearly it is not. I will be wearing it with a button down + jeans Wednesday during the day. I truly love it so. They also had this jacket, this one, and this duster cardigan. I was really impressed with them all.
Elizabeth Wilson's new drop. I love Elizabeth, she is beautiful inside and out and creates the most darling clothes. They are all very well made, beautiful, and so fun to wear. Her new collection of Valentine pieces + camo has me so excited for spring. I have this dress, this one, and this cape. I love it all.
Mary's Book. I have shared before but it is worth sharing again. Have you read this book? It is so good and so well written and left me ready for the sequel. If you have a book club or are looking for a fun little happy for your besties to start February, this is it. You will absolutely love it. Plus, major bonus, the cover is pink. 💗
Simply Jessica Marie. This darling artist is on my favorites list and has the most beautiful items. Her lifestyle shop is filled with stationery, coffee mugs, tea towels, candles, original art, and so much more. I love her art. It captures all the things I adore in the most charming way. I just placed an order last night and will be seeing sweet Jessica at Summit in just a few days. If she isn't on your radar yet she should be, you will love her work.
Mae Wearable Art. This is another new drop I can't get enough of, and you will quickly see why when you check it out. I love Margaret's (Mae) jewelry as it is beautiful and equally lightweight. You can pair earrings with her bangles or wear them alone and both are a great idea. I am currently crushing on the xoxo collection and more specifically the Darden, the Grace, and the Eden.
