Happy Monday ...

Happy Monday!  I had the best weekend, and woke up this morning in a really good mood.  I am a morning person by nature, but this morning I felt lighter and happier than I have in a bit.  I am so excited for the week, some fun things on the list, and just to tackle another week in October.  I shared on Instagram this weekend that October feels like a month of adventure to me, the weekends I crave to pick apples, hit a pumpkin farm, walk through some corn mazes ... and sit by a fire.  It's definitely the crisp air I am loving. 

I have some fun things to share today ... just a round up of some thoughts and a fun social media account for you.  I have a long to do list today, so I am drinking all the coffee to do all the things.  Oh, and the music is on and its feeling very fall right now.  

I don't hate it. 🍂

1.  The D. Porthault sale began this morning.  I love all their stunning french bedding + towels, and dreaming of how luxurious my bed would feel if it was dressed in all D. Porthault.  The prices are steep so I always check out their sale, which is happening online this year instead of in their New York City store.  The eye candy goes on for days ... 

2.  We have apples!!  I polled a lot of you on Instagram this weekend and asked your favorite apple recipes and got a number of them, but hands down the top two were either baked apples or apple crisp.  My husband loves a crisp, so I am trying this recipe. 

3.  It is one week until Halloween, so I am having some fun on Instagram and hosting a little quick giveaway ... which will end in the morning and be shipped out by lunch tomorrow.  Just a few festive items I hope someone will love to have all the wicked good fun next weekend. 

 

4.  I attended the Downton Abby Exhibition yesterday as a gift from a local pr company.  It was on my wish list and when they asked if I wanted to attend I was thrilled. It is fabulous, giving so many fun details about life in that era and so many little filming details.  I loved every second, walking through the downstairs and seeing Mary's bedroom and the dining room, which may be my favorite.  If you are near and can go, do, you will love it.  And ... if it is coming to a city near you, make plans to go.  It has inspired me to completely re-watch the series.  It was just so good. 

5.  Are you following @jongraz on Tiktok?  I am in love with him and his 13 year old pug Noodle.  And just in case you do and missed it ... today is a bones day!! Give yourself a treat today and download the app just for him!!

6.  Did you read this blog post?  I shared how I will be doing "gift guides" this year and from the feedback I have received you all absolutely love it.  I got so many messages and I am so excited.  This feels so me, and so right up my gifting alley so it makes sense for me to give gift ideas in this manner.  This week I will be adding my list for favorite travel + favorite beauty.  Stay tuned ... 

Since it is a bones day, treat yourself.  Get the pumpkin latte, have the scone, eat outside for lunch, and call someone you love and tell them they are magical.
