It is the most exciting day of the day ... the One Room Challenge reveal! I feel like a six year old that woke up before dawn on Christmas morning! #butterfliesfordays. I have been counting down to this day from day one of the challenge but I may, or may not have missed two days sleep with all the excitement building!
I will not dull these beautiful pictures with the sad "befores", those can be found here. And to warn you there are a lot of photos, but I love photos and you need to see each piece of this room. I still can't believe this is my completed kitchen. #kidinacandystore.
Without further ado, aka my boring chit chat, our brand new Kitchen and Breakfast room ...
Let's pause one second and talk about that amazing dragon. I have vowed to have art from The Pink Pagoda in each of my One Room Challenges. It is a tradition for me. This piece goes way above anything I have ever received from her. She designed this piece just for me ... and her precious daughter Virginia drew the amazing, drop dead gorgeous dragon. Isn't he just beyond all words? Virginia, I love him so much. Thank you for making your mother's vision for the art in my kitchen come true. You are one talented girl! You can shop this piece and the rest of Jennifer's art here ...

ReplyDeletePaige,
ReplyDeleteIt's beyond amazing! There's nothing in the in the new space that's not perfectly you! I'm actually speechless over all the goodness you've created, you had the vision my friend.
I know you must be tickled pink after 13 years to have your dream kitchen. Congrats!
I see big, amazing things for you ahead. Reach for them, you certainly deserve it all.
Now, excuse me while I go to my horribly outdated kitchen and get my first cup of joe.

Wow, just, wow! I am absolutely in love with your kitchen and scrolling through the pictures actually made me a little teary because it was so beautiful! Taking pages of notes for when we redo ours this Spring!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing! Those "his and her" chairs are incredible! Of course, the wallpaper is my favorite and I've already mentioned that on IG this morning! The blue lacquered chest, the dragon; I agree, it must seem like Christmas to you! I don't know you, and I've never commented on your blog but I've followed your blog from "afar". I started reading Amanda's blog, Dixie Delights long ago, and found yours from her, and it went from there! And I so admire you because when you want something done, you go for it! When I want something done, I look at blogs and procrastinate and never pull the trigger! I'm a single mom! Oh well! I'm so happy for you this morning! Well done! And I also love your laundry room!:)
ReplyDeleteSpectacular! I love all the color in your house. Your use of color is amazing. The Pink Pagoda print is stunning next to the yellow and blue. I'm sure you are pinching yourself every time you walk into your kitchen. Well done!

It is styled to perfection.....I need to come over for coffee so we can laugh about all the pitfalls that go along with this little challenge. You are a genius with mixing in the colors and pattern....#scared.

ReplyDeleteIt looks amazing. Your best yet. xoxoxo
ReplyDeletePaige ~ I am amazed and inspired by all you accomplished! For you, the challenge should be renamed the One Room ++++ Challenge - kitchen, breakfast area, back door entrance. ReplyDeleteHey,
ReplyDeleteFantastic post you have shared here. I read your sites details and I understood that, your design and decuration are most important part in the house. Some people thinks it is a waste of money so they don't give any time of improving their home or kitchen even a simple touch of Backsplash. Really this post is very essential for us.
Thanks,
Donald
